I’ve got some and I like them for uplifts. Too hot and restrictive to pedal in them all day for me. Much prefer the Fox launch for days on the trails.

I’ve got the Fox launch knees and elbows. Really pleased with them so far. Would like a bit more coverage on the forearms but they are really comfy so I’m more likely to wear them in the first place.

There are also issues around identifying possible victims of abuse, reducing the availability of child pornography on the net, the fact he may be a risk to children, the fact it’s the CPS who decided to take it to trial plus a whole host of other issues.

Unless of course you’re happy for the lack of a child pron conviction to allow him to leave prison earlier than he otherwise would? Convicting him of this offence demonstrates more clearly to a board how much of a danger to the public he is likely to be. Life does not mean life in most cases. There is usually a minimum sentence attached to a life sentence, after which they may be released.

Thanks. Found a few useful bits. Will probably head straight to a shop when we get there.

Cafe des Amis du Mexique is a great restaurant. Duck Fajitas are one of the most awesome things I have ever eaten.

Fit a 30t front ring and get a 40t rear cog from Hope/OneUp. £90 all in and will let you spin up steep hills.

Even better with some dry fried chorizo. Not authentic but yummy!

Prune juice mixed in with something more palatable to a 4yr old. Works everytime for ours.

Screwdriver through it as above. Always worked really well for me.

You should give it a go yourself and take it to the LBS if you screw it up. If you’re using a 30t or 32t narrow wide ring up front just see how it runs with the same number of links in the chain and take a couple out if it looks slack. Buy a quick link to rejoin the chain after you’ve taken the front mech and shifter off and jobs a good’un. I’m sure there are some videos on YouTube if you get stuck.

Where abouts are you? I’m towards Bishops Stortford and occasionally go up to Thetford. It’s really easy honestly.

I just used the bolts from my bash to attach it to the middle ring of my XT cranks. Took about 10 mins, swapping the mech and shifters from 9spd to 10 took longer but you already have all that including the clutch mech.

In theory just a RaceFace narrow wide chainring up front in whatever size best suits your fitness. You may need slightly longer chainring bolts, but it’s a very easy thing to do. Then you ditch the front mech and shifter.

Nothing much new to add, other than last time I went I only had 120mm suspension either end and I was only slightly killed. I would get some beefier forks for the Zesty though. X fusion slants probably cost as much new as Fox 34’s 2nd hand and I much prefer the Slants.

Thanks all. I was planning to go and sit on a load to find one that fits, just no clue as to what’s good at the moment as I haven’t had a roadbike since I was 16.

Are these the newer ones that can take the finned pads or the older style calipers?

I’m running 160mm Slants on my Remedy and they are about a gazillion times better than the Fox 32’s

Loco – just out of interest is there much you can do to the DRCV RP2 on the Remedy?

I went HERE on a stag do in Liverpool a couple of years ago. Was one of the best churascaria places I’ve been to. Good for a stag do (unless there are veggies).

All the kidz are getting fresh with 1×10 or 1×11 or something. Could do that easily enough with a new RaceFace chainring, new shifter and mech.

I looked at the liteville but the ebay ones are only medium and I need a large. Only thing putting me off the Rune is frame weight seems on the portly side. Guess it means it’ll last though.

If this is a wind up its in really horrifically bad taste. Otherwise I’d say to the OP I think you are suffering from paranoid schizophrenia. Some of the things you are talking about, particularly the physical sensations, indicate psychosis. Please go and talk to your doctor or someone you trust.

    You’ve all forgotten the Chimichurri!

2 big heaps of parsley leaves, chopped chilli, 2 crushed cloves garlic, teaspoon dried oregano, big glug of olive oil, big splash red wine vinegar, splash of water, pinch of salt flakes. Blitz the crap out of it. Single best thing to eat with steak ever.
