The orange trails are probably Closest to what you are after. Link up the orange down to Lindarets/Mossette from Avoriaz. Then take the Mossette lift up. The red off the back is quite natural feeling and the orange back is a mix of pedal and natural rocky stuff. There’s plenty of natural trails but you have to know you’re way around to find the best ones. I live in Lyon at the moment so I ride there quite a bit as it’s only a couple of hours away.

The couple of times there’s been a problem with an order they’ve been exemplary in sorting it out. Never had an issue with their customer service.

Expecting them to give you money because they couldn’t sell you something is a little bit mental.

No idea why people think it’s EU law? There are derestricted e-bikes in Europe but they are treated as a motor vehicle. It’s the road traffic act in the UK that defines legal categories of motor vehicles and what constitutes a mechanically propelled vehicle. A friend has a de-restricted e-bike which is taxed and has a registration plate in Belgium and is considered a moped under their domestic law.

100% towbar carrier for me. Better economy, easier to make sure everything is secure. Atera Strada slides out the way of the boot and is a great bit of kit.

I’ve got a Sherpa and it’s great. They aren’t that long though so depends what he likes. The swappable dropouts are a big plus and it’s a lovely looking frame.

I’ve had two of the Pinnacle kids bikes from Evans. A 16″ and a 20″ for my 6 and 4yr old (not in that order). Thoroughly recommended, solid, not too heavy and lots of colour options.

I’m ok with second hand and by cheap I mean around £300 or less if possible as it’s going to be a spare lend to friends type of bike. I’m 6’1.

I’ve got the 3 bike atera strada and it’s been brilliant so far. It’s light, really really easy to fit, secure, well made and I don’t find it difficult to fit multiple bikes. Highly recommend

Having had to deal with the aftermath of a lot of traumatic incidents I can only tell you what’s worked for me. As others have said – talking about it and recognising it’s upsetting is the biggest thing, so you’re already a step ahead. Also try and focus on the things you did to help. A person died which is immensely sad – but comforting and talking to the HGV driver was probably the single best thing you could do in that situation – turning on your hazards to increase the safety of others who’d got out of their cars. It may sound silly but you made an awful thing slightly less bad. It’s important. Well done.

You won’t get a production order from a bank for theft by finding of £50. You’re more likely to get their details from a loyalty card or the car reg outside. Peoples expectations about use of public resources seems slightly out of whack with reality.

Turned off DHCP on the second router and changed the IP for the second router because it seemed to be confusing devices connecting to the second router then swapping back to the primary router. This guide was helpful http://www.skyuser.co.uk/forum/attachments/asking-help/2207d1298734382-how-connect-two-routers-together-how-connect-two-routers-together-v1.00.pdf

Think it was the old router not liking the change of IP and trying to revert back to the old one which clashed with the new router. Managed to get it to work now.

As per takisawa2’s post earlier. I had a ticket from them which I appealed to POPLA as it was an unfair charge and not reflective of any loss blah blah blah and also make sure you don’t mention you were the driver. They didn’t even bother fighting the POPLA appeal and submitted no evidence.

Just to add a bit more balance the budget cuts are having a massive impact despite the ill informed views of some previous posters. There is more crime than officers to deal with it. It’s not uncommon for DC’s in CID to be managing in excess of 30+ investigations at once and those are usually more complex serious crimes. There is obviously poor service to the public on occasion (and it sounds like you’ve experienced it here DrP) but there are also some fairly unrealistic expectations from the public. Have a think about the breadth of things the Police are supposed to deal with. Everything from shoplifting to terrorism, cannabis smoking to murder, domestic arguments to missing children. Hope it gets sorted DrP.
