Jcl i work in a very busy lbs workshop and have to say that I am constantly amazed that no one looks at how a spesh is put together and questions the quality of the build.
The bearings are a tiny spec non angular contact , soft hard ware that the customer has usually already stripped, whole bike has to be stripped to get to the main pivot , double blind bearings in the stays , conical washers to hold everything together I could go on.
Bronson : two Allen keys to service the very high quality angular contact bearings.
Just sayin.

The appeal of penmachno for a lot of folks seemed to be that it didn’t feel to much like a man made trail.
Some would say it feels a bit more remote than other man made trails, personally i think its a real shame that its had some bmx track in the woods stuff put in.

I have had a Bronson with a ctd a float x and now a ccdb air cs
Each one was better than the previous but the db air is bonkers good.
The db air is on a 2015 Bronson with new updates to db air and a good base tune to get you started.
I would probably always be keen to get one on any bike I was riding now.

I would do it while I was doing a lower service .
Which is basically lowers off, new seals and foam rings new oil in the lowers .
Then it’s just pop the top cap off the air side slide the push rod up and out pop in spacer and bosh it back together.
40 quid at our place .

If you have half a brain you should manage it on your own though.

I have just swapped my blur ltc frame for a Bronson ( blur frame for sale if anyone is keen ) and I am very happy on it .
The main thing that made me go for another sc is the robustness they seem to offer , finish on the frame stands up well and the collet system is the best I have used as far as the pivots are concerned .
I think with the sizing most people don’t look at the numbers correctly I ride a large in a Bronson where as most other bikes I would go for a medium (about 5’10) it fits me great with plenty of room for a standard reverb and a 50 mm stem for the radness :-)
