that was my concern about it.
however last week i had a peddle over from my mum and dads house(near haltwhistle) over to the lake and back which was about 60miles on road and forest track.to be honest it was nothing like as big and chunky as thought it would be.but then there defo is some parts that are big fat hoggin all the way depends on the route i geuss.

thinking about getting some what they like in the flesh and what do they size like?

are they not just for shiming out the cleat if the shoe rubs on your pedal choice?

most of the folks i ride with have been riding for years,most wear lycra 3/4 or whatever.. the view seems to be that there are mountainbikers who actually ride and then there is the trail centre fashion show which is not the same thing.
probably all a bit wide and sweeping but there y go.
