I would go 270 I reckon going a bit longer usually is better if you go to short you can end up with the spoke being in the nipple threads but not actually being inside the rim which isn’t great

I would get the proper boost Hub from hope rather than the axle ands and the disc spacer that they do

i wonder if the three day riding thing is anything to do with the numbers being down
I am a master for example which is probably the biggest cat in enduro and I much prefer pmba racing (one day) as I am at an age where work kids etc makes the commitment of steves races a bit much

You Could jump on the enduro bandwagon seems a bit more going on up north
Depends on the race really did the trans savoie last year probably stop at about the four hour mark in the uk.

I would defo go for the CCDBcs air option it feels like a much bigger bike than with a ctd.
Also you might want to look an angle set / works headset as it ain’t the slickest of trail bikes.
Love mine though.
