i work at a health retreat type place up in scotland that is based in a big old manor house type thing.
so one night the last time i was up there i was awoken by a the sound of a small girl crying, thought nothing of it as the family that own the place have loads of people round to stay on an almost constant basis so its fairly normal to bump into people running about the place that you haven’t seen before.
anyways at breakfast the next morning i asked the main man of the house what the wee lass was squaking about? and he just looked at me and said “wee lass crying yeah loads of people hear that” 😯
