It manages it ok although mine has had the MAP tun chipping done so its 205hp.
Ultimately it understeers when its pushed very hard, which I dont mind as my wife also drives it. (She grew up in the South of France and drives accordingly). Never had any real torque steer though, brilliant on the motorway and not too big either if that makes sense. I was trying to describe to a friend the other day. Its one of those cars that I never lusted after, dont have an emotional connection to etc, but I would really miss it if it went…

I have a 08 plate Saab 93 Estate. Twin turbo diesel. plenty of room for bikes and kit, stupid quick and most importantly doesn't turn heads. Especially in black. Brilliant car.

Ok so the Troy Lee Carbon is quite possibly the best helmet you can buy in that its so well made and the fit is just sublime. I have the Carbon Deviant as well and its excellent. I'm off to Chamonix in August for a few days of all mtn type stuff and I'll be wearing the Deviant as its so incredibly well ventilated. Most of the other glass fibre stuff is just too heavy if you're going to be doing any kind of up hill or all mountainey type stuff. That being said, I know lots of people use their normal xc lid for uphilly bits then switch to a cheaper full face that they've been carrying in/on their packs once they're at the top.

I was lucky enough to have my wife buy me the Dave Yates course as an anniversary present a few years ago. It was amazing. You can build pretty much whatever you want MTB or Road bike wise. And he's a no-nonsense down to earth geezer who really knows what he's talking about. I'm seriously considering doing the course again next year or when available… Its expensive but such a great introduction to building your own bike frames.

I'm going to get it done after I get back from Chamonix (early september) going for the yellow with the cosmic dust finish.

If you're prepared to travel a bit further afield, then give Tony a call at UK Bike skills. I've been coached by him at Woburn Sands in Bedfordshire. I can't recommend him enough really. He's done wonders for my riding over the last year. I think he travels around as well, I remember he was doing a course at one of the Welsh trail centres a while back, Think it was Landegla (spelling). Top dude, super patient and unlike some of the coaches out there, he really does have the ability to back up what he's telling you.

I love that yellow enduro. In UK test bike colours. I wanted one, but hadn't had my pitch long so couldn't really justify it.

I lived in Westminster for a bit, we used to have loads of car break ins. Local kids would rob anything from your car. My upstairs neighbour had a bag and some stuff nicked from his car one night. Police attended and said that the local kids used a crutch to break the windows, apparently one of them would pretend to be on crutches, a few of them would look around and then one would smash the window. Anyway a few weeks went by and my neighbour was coming back from the pub a bit pissed. Noticed a young guy with crutches near his car. Dude stops and bends down behind his car. Neighbour goes mental, runs over and proceeds to kick the crap out of the guy, really went to town on him. About 2 minutes in he notices the dark blue cast on the guys left leg… I'd like to say he did the decent thing and apologised, but he panicked and legged it. Only told me about 6 months later.

tails I know what you mean, a mate of mine sent it to me. First time I watched it I was like "you what…" I've just been reading about the dude, actually starting to think the stuff he does is pretty awesome. It kind of goes back to mucking about in the woods, like we all used to do as kids. Jumping on and off stuff, running for a bit, crawling under stuff. Certainly more entertaining than endless back smashing miles running in a straight line… also that bit where he's going like the clappers – look at how steady his head is, it barely moves.

Have you thought about slightly less traditional style stuff?
The stuff this guy does is pretty inspirational:

Just had a look at the first advert you posted. Looks like he's had a replacement rear subframe. Might even be a Demo 8 subframe, if thats the case I dont think it will have full travel. Jedi can clarify when he's back from Glentress…

Demo 9 is a downhill bike that just happens to also be really rather good for freeride, or what freeride used to be. Tony (Jedi) and I run Demo 9's with 24 inch rear wheels, they can however be set up and run relatively light. Arguably one of the best pedalling big bikes ever made.
The demo 9 came first, the demo 8 was a much cheaper bike to make for spesh…

They look nice, but IMHO the build quality doesn't match Sun and newer DT stuff.

nobody knows more about riding in Canada. And I mean, nobody. Possibly the most respected MTB guide in Canada. Awesome guy and his wife Barb is amazing as well.

If they're booked up then I'm sure he'll point you in the direction of someone decent who can help.

1.1megaton blue steel rocket propelled device right down their throats

Trident not all it was cracked up to be then?

Always thought it was a case of us rattling the sabre somewhat. Why else go to that expense to perform an exercise that achieved what a group of landbased troops could achieve in a relatively straight forward mission.
My father in law flew Vulcans, i get the same stories drilled into me every f*ckin Christmas…

The point being that if Britain can hit The Falklands by air, they for sure, we can hit mainland Argentina.

Not really though, I think both we and the Argentinians realised that the chances of a Vulcan raid to the mainland was pretty much a non starter. The Argentinian Air force had some pretty sophisticated radar that would have picked it up miles away, and whilst the Mirages and Daggers weren't much cop over the Falklands they'd have had no worries shooting down a Vulcan..

The whole point of sending the Vulcan down there just to bomb an airfield was to show Argentina that we were more than capable of putting a 1.1megaton blue steel rocket propelled device right down their throats.
    That's why we did it.

I went to Finale which is just inside Italy last year. Awesome place.
Is probably a 2 hour drive from Nice airport. Riding was amazing.

Sounds good dude. Tony's a mate of mine, so I'm lucky enough to have been coached by him a lot over the last couple of years. I can't say I'm surprised by the content of your post. Sounds like your properly buzzing from your day dude.
