I bought a used Kona shred for Farting about on the local trails. Lovely bike,but ( due to my decrepitude) it broke me. So I bought a used 09 spesh enduro fsr. Now I’m enjoying shredding the trail’s & I’m not crippled for a week afterwards 😁

Cheers guys. I’ve never known anyone to shift a back wheel in a crash. I know it was tight because it was me who did it up. I’m a chronic pedant with the MTBs. Every single thing has to be perfect. I set up a mate’s little un’s Halfords special last Xmas. The poor sod was used to having V brakes that barely work. On Xmas morning she grabbed the brakes as normal & went straight over the bars 😬. She was fine though. The forks on the bike at the mo are suntours. They’re working intermittently. I’ve ordered the 181s. I’ll have a fettle with them once they’re fitted. Cheers for the replies 😊

Cheers guys. He was on the way home after riding the Malvern hills. He dropped off a kerb & the seat stay broke. I’ve lent him my Kona shred for the mo. The bikes 11 months old. He got it for his birfday last August. I hope he gets a replacement, mtbing is his life 😞

Malvern rider. I lived down helgar chavenue for 18 months. The locals burgled my shed 6 times during my excruciating stay. 4 of those times were after I’d nailed it shut. My MTB was locked to the wall in my flat. I also got arrested for battering one of the chavs I caught burgling the shed 🤣. He got let off 😠

My finances are pretty dire at the mo, due to being off work. The 11t cog is worn,I ordered an 11t for a 9 speed cassette but the shop sent the wrong one out , they sent me a cog for an 11 speed 🙄 I only paid 350 quid for the bike. It needed about 5 hours work to get it running right. The bikes an 08 specialized enduro fsr.

My specialized has the 11 46 9 speed.its a sunrace one. I’ve seen the bolonay ones,but they look a bit suspect to me.

The dishwasher. We had a kitchen fitted in January, the blokes who fitted it didn’t bother making a hole for the dishwasher outlet pipe & just routed it between the cabinet & sink ,so dirty water was going back into the machine. So I made a hole at the right height ,fed the outlet pipe through it & hey presto, the dishwasher ain’t getting back flow 😊

Got an ancient Saracen enzyme running as it should yesterday . Fitted some 2.7 inch wide specialized big rollers on little uns mtb. Sorted the headset on my specialized enduro. Just waiting on a chain device & brake pads now.
