I used brake disc cleaner to remove any goo under the old tape. Also found muc off tape better than Stanstape.

Had the same issue, it drove me mad. I retaped in the end and solved the problem.

When I registered I was a sound engineer sat at a mixing desk so seemed apt.

I recently got a Hario skerton Pro, it was on special for about £35. Its quite alot of work but compared to my old Krupps blade grinder it’s a massive step up in consistency. I also think(could be in my head) that my coffee tastes better.
It’s now a ritual in the morning sat at my desk grinding away!!!!

I have an Edit V2 and love it, also a great company to deal with. I’ve never ridden a 29 so can’t comment on it being a 27.5 but I know it so much more fun than my old Stumpy which is 26.

Sounds like you have loads to discuss and not an easy decision as both outcomes will change your life in one way or another.

Those key boxes you can fix to a wall are quite good as long as you can fix them somewhere out of the way. I always liked the way some cars in USA have key pads to get in so you can leave your keys in when you go to the beach etc

I watched the Rock against Racism documentary at the weekend and even though I thought I could relate to the 70’s and 80’s it was a real shock how bad it was. We appear to have come a long way so hopefully by 2050 things will be a lot better but we have a long way to go!
