I had this early on. The Mrs sort of resented the fact that because I had a ‘hobby’ to fill my free time & she didn’t that it was sort of unfair on her. I always said she could do whatever she wanted but it was her decision not to do anything with her spare time which she eventually accepted.

I used to ride very early or very late to keep riding time up but then my Mrs likes watching shite TV weeknights. Weekends has always been a bit trickier but now Jr is riding a bit himself I can get away with a 2/3 hour blast as long as I then take him out for a trundle after. It’s an ideal ‘warm down’ if you believe in that kind of thing & great father/son time. Just need to convince him that hooning off of everything isn’t compulsory and that being able to land properly is more important than taking off. :?

Not sure how long it’d take you get to Edale. Cheap & reasonable campsite (Coopers I think) which has a cafe & shop and the pub over the road does good beer & food and doesn’t care how muddy you are when you arrive.

I’ve not had a problem with a 400mm On-One Twelfty post.

There are some issues (allegedly) with the basic Shimano ones but the XT’s work fine and are much, much cheaper than XTR.

I had a similar situation a few years back & was advised at the time that right of access means exectly that – you are only entitled to use the designated route for access to/from your property.

We had been storing our wheelie bin in an alley we used – it didn’t block it and we were the only people that needed to pass it – but the owners of the house next door had us remove it as they didn’t want it there when prospective buyers came round. God knows why ’cause you couldn’t even see it from their property.

I’ve just finished reading this thread and am amazed that some people seem to be giving this guy a wide birth.

I’m guessing you meant ‘benefit of the doubt’? Well I, for one, have not had a problem in dealings with IWH & there seem to be more on here that fall into the same camp than those that have. It is strange that both the currently aggrieved parties have not refuted any of the details he has provided and I would be interested to hear from either as to whether they do now have their proof of posting?

There’s also the case of lungman who says the same guy did the same thing to him last year. I’d have thought that would’ve been all over the forum & made folk wary but have no recollection of it being raised before this thread. I may be wrong but that’s my understanding.

Surely we should wait for the end result, not buy anything advertised by this member & hope that those that are owed get their goods or cash back?
