I’ve got a van Doblo 1.9 diesel, 54 mpg on a run is the good thing about it,pokey too, I like the engine 🙂 It’s like a bean can though, not the best built thing in the world.

Quite a bit of a different bike to a mega, what made you go for the ST4?

I got mine from Bikescene too. I’ve only just lowered it from 130mm to 120mm but haven’t tried it yet, hopefully I like it more as I’m not really liking it at the moment.

I ride them as they are convenient and my local trails are as smooth as a baby’s bum so some rock type stuff makes a change. I also travel to do natural stuff too so there.

Unless your radiator gives out radiated heat ie is it one of them infrared heaters rather than the convection heat a standard convectir gives out

They are still there (not the tanks, the bits that shot the flame), I’m in Manston, a fair bit of history here 🙂

Depends on the LBS too, are they a hammer and socket type or do they have the right tools?

OK unless you need warranty, apparently no paint on the edges of the dropouts is normal. I haven’t used them since. Previous to that though I used them quite a bit and they were OK.

I think £500 for my Soul frame is plenty enough for a steel hardtail. I wouldn’t pay anymore than that I don’t think, 953 is discussed on the Cotic site I think and they aren’t going too do one with it as it would cost too much.

Personally I couldn’t care less where it’s built, I could swear a blind man welded my Orange Five and that is British 🙂
