OK, I did't mean this to turn into a debate 🙄

Depends what you want from it I think, if you're a townie( not saying you are personally) then there aren't many shopping centres etc so it may not be for you.

I'd prefer to bring my children up somewhere like Cornwall where it's chilled and poeople have something in common, even if it's only a love of surf, than a city where everyone wants to fight you 😕

Penetrating oil such as Plusgas helps, you could also try doing it up a little then undoing it. I use a 24" breaker bar.
To keep the tool in, put the drive side back in and use the crank bolt through the tool and into the axle, depending on the tool.

Surfmat, that would be great if you could pass on details to me, I've been a mechanic for 15 years so I'm not too bad at it :-)Did have a word with Roj at the Bike Barn, he seemed positive on me having some work but I haven't heard from him since.

Ended up at Croyde,I'm unfortunate enough to live in the South East so it's a trek. I bet PT was cracking at the weekend, some of the guys like Prisk rip. I got so much of a beating at PT once….. mmmm it hurt 🙁

That's what negative does, pulls them into their their travel to get 'em moving. Also I like them coz you can make the fork match the rear shock feel really well. I love my Revs 😀

I can just move and sweat my ass off, I went to the doctors and they said not to worry. Not that they know anything……

I didn't used to have this, my father has it too so for me it's a family thing but it can be thyroid related.

Ohh and i'm quite fit and not overweight!

Just got me Revelation RLT 2011, I have gone from Reba SL 2009. I can say that they are really nice and plush, hugely adjustable and the dual flow rebound is noticeable. I have them set at 120mm at the mo on my Trance X, Merlin are doing them cheap £332 -10%. Got mine from on-one for £300 😀

Go see the folks at the Bike Barn at Portreath, they have a camping field and a bike shop and will sort you a map with the best riding for you.

Dual air Rockshox for me, really tunable and reliable too. Fox sound like too much worry to me but I haven't owned them.

Agree with Flow, my mate works there and he knows his stuff, his Cytech 2 was paid for by Halfords too. I would say that most of the know all folk that think they know everything about bikes have alot to learn, I have been employed as a cycle mechanic for over 15 years now and I don't know every little thing so really an enthusiast isn't going to know as much as they would like to think!
