    Post a picture…..

Do you mean spoke pliers? Hold the spoke so it’s doesn’t get wind up.

The upgrades seem to be more expensive and you pay for international listing now.

Both our winters and summers needed replacing this year and as I’m not planning to keep the car many more years I’ve just switched to all seasons. Seem fine so far, don’t feel much different to the old summers and definitely not as noisy a the winters. Also means I can get rid of the steels and make a bit more room in the garage ?.

Took delivery of my new ID.7 tourer last night.

    @bassmandan
would be great if you could post some updates once you’ve had it a while. From what I’ve seen so far I’m keen on an ID7 tourer to replace our aging Golf estate (once some ex demos come up for sale). What spec did you go for?

Will it not still payout even if the debt has been settled? Our mortgage ones read like they cover the mortgage amount on the expected term. If we were to overpay/pay off earlier the policy would still be worth what the the mortgage would have been at the point. Seems like this could provide a nice payment in the event one party died.

If you make a mistake push the spoke through the rim a little then shake, the washer should drop onto the nipple allowing you to remove both at once.

Buy the proper tool to work from the outside (assuming squorx nipples), makes it so much easier.

Smalls also seen thin on the ground. Been looking for my daughter and there is nothing good or even average.

Complete bike specs in general seem very poor to me these days.

Surely you only need one bead to fit? Once side one is on you can push it out of the way to fit side two.

@op are you sure the compound had come away Vs been worn away till you were braking on the backing plate? Detaching compound is not something you hear levelled at Shimano pads, heard it plenty of times about other (mostly cheaper) brands but not Shimano.

FWIW I stick to the OEM pads but then I also don’t wear pads out very quickly.

There’s my sniffing animals on pink, blue and black background from page 3 as well. Beginning to wonder if that was too obscure.

You mean SRAM XD not HD. Yes you could, or you could order a HG freehub for the wheels which will likely be cheaper (you then use your existing cassette). SRAM XD cassettes tend to be more expensive, something I’d want to avoid with an ebike chewing the drive chain up. SRAM HG cassettes are cheaper and you can also then use similarly cheap Shimano or Sunrace models.

I am still very stuck on your p3 red triangle one. It seems familiar, but can’t put a name to it.

Its bugging me in the same way. Sure seems familiar but after searching the entire cd collection I’m no closer!

Chromebook all the way for that usage. Something like this week be more powerful than they get to use at school https://www.johnlewis.com/asus-chromebook-plus-cx34-laptop-intel-core-i3-processor-8gb-ram-256gb-ssd-14-full-hd-grey/p111159470?s_share=jlappdroid

It’s easy to setup with their own kids Google account to login and then their scholl account as secondary (which classroom app then can be set to use).

The only reason to buy a windows laptop now IMO is a requirement to run software that needs windows. All the core use case apps are more than adequate with the online or chrome app versions.

I have the hup frame as my CX race bike. It’s nice and I like riding it but for gravel my escapade is better. Being a CX frame the hup is not compact. I’ve a 58 and it looks big, it’s also a higher BB. It’s 9kg at the moment with xtr pedals, grx 600, carbon saddle and 1.5kg wheels. My escapade by comparison has a lot more seat post showing and better standover despite being very similar length.

For the last 2 years hup have done big black Friday discounts. I paid a lot less for my frame last year. If you went that way might be worth holding off for the extra few weeks.

Lubing drinker cups is the oddest (chicken waterers). Lots of parts for my Elise including random electrical connectors catch cans and oil line fittings.

From the dash that’s a Mk7? Other than the door warning those are exactly what ours showed when the battery needed changing. New battery and no more errors.

Not looked at the x-track before, what do you prefer about those?

Much as I like hope stuff I’ll need at least two sets of pedals and some extra cleats which ends up quite costly.

Warm up is a non issue with the Bambino, it’s near instant. Mine is approaching 5 now so probably due to blow!

I’ve a Bambino and have never used the milk frother. It doesn’t get in the way and I don’t think looking for a machine without one either reduce your footprint. Mine only came with double wall basket inserts. If you get one and that’s all it has then buy the single wall inserts from their bigger machine (same sized portafilter). I found it much easier to produce a nice coffee with the single wall inserts (using fresh ground from the sage grinder). Double wall inserts only get used when I’m out of beans and need to use pre ground.

West Quay in Southampton has signs on every entrance (high up so they are difficult to see) stating that you’ll be tracked throughout the centre using your phone. Don’t remember if it specifies WiFi or cellular however I’d imagine passive cellular would create more data.

Another vote for the one up composites. I’ve 2 sets that are both going strong. Oldest has taken lots of rock strikes and 4000k before showing any sign of needing maintenance (slight click after ride with lots of deep water crossings).

I honestly don’t know why anyone would but metal flats anymore as composites are cheaper, lighter, look better as they age, just as grippy (maybe better grip).

Cool, thank you all. Definitely going to need to fit isolation valves I think to remove the time pressure.

It’s a combi with mains cold water. No tanks anywhere. We have two of these showers and before the last cartridge failed (lost temp control) neither shrieked. The other one still doesn’t. I don’t know the pressure difference or pressure. For some unknown reason the shower has no isolation valves. The pipes are only accessible under the tray so if I fit valves I think it would have to be push fit. Are the pressure equalising valves fitted on the shower or whole house?

This is what’s there currently. The mira manual gives the same numbers as blazin-saddles. The grohe is the same spacing.
