27.2 / 400 seatpost. 28.6 Hope q/r seat clamp so not overtightened. About 1/3 of the post in the frame – well above the min mark. All this should be ok?

£17.oo for a chancel search. Google the Aston Cantlow case, hundreds of thousands. The search is called a “no search” seach and searches down to parish / tithe district level. If your search comes back with a “report” it doesn’t mean your particular property is affected and you can get an insurance policy to cover the risk – around £100 depending on the value of the property. If you are getting a mortgage your mortgagee would also require the policy to be taken out.

Reasonably often – one of my favorite loops includes Sarn Helen from Coelbren/Banwen to Heol Senni and back via Ystradfellte/PNV.

I am guessing that your fil has a solicitor to advise/undertake the sale – ask him/her to recommend an agent

I think i am going to have to go back to 160mm front rotor and change the wheel set when i can.

how the **** can maviv make a hub that is too f**king wide!! mavic crossride with 6 bolt adaptor gives me about 20 thou clearance between disc and top post mount. old non branded front hub (some sort of shimano copy which the mavic were bought to upgrade but which after 2 years of abuse are still truer than the mavics after a dozen or so rides incidentaly ) gives 3-4 mm !!!! should have saved up a bit more for hope hoops, toys leaving the pram – now.

the same. have it plus one link instead of plus two to avoid chaindrop.

    Nipper99

has the hope adaptor but it is the rotor itself that is too close to the ‘post’ on the fork casting itself. Its like the rotor need to come back toward the wheel a couple of mm / the hub on the wheel is too wide!!

can be made to rub and no, its not a floating rotor.

I’m running my decade virsa as a 1×9 at the moment with a middleburn uno chainring. I am running the chain plus one link (instead of plus two links). Plenty of bouncy trails with hardly any drops , twice in the last dozen or so outings. I have a Paul Chainkeeper to go on at some point but the uncluuttered front uno chainring looks too nice at the moment.
