I have a Hatchbag for my Skoda, and although not cheap, is fantastic quality and covers not only the floor but also all the way up to the windows.

    +1 for Hatchbag 🙂

I have Hellys, Sub Zeros & a Ground Effect Merino; and it’s only the Merino that doesn’t stink after 6 hours.

    (from a northerner down south)

It IS only around 9″ generally, but 10x the amount of traffic of anywhere else in’t Uk, and roads designed in the 19th Century, it’s total **** gridlock when only 1 prick crashes his car! 🙄

My mate last night took 6 hours to travel 12 miles home; my neighbour took 13 hours to get home to Epsom from Crawley!!!

If you’re looking at a faux x 4, how about a Skoda Octavia Scout – they’ve just won the WHAT CAR award for best small family car, despite them being cavernous inside.

Marley and Me is the only film that I’ve shed a tear over thus far. Probably because I can relate to it

    I concur.
I blubbed when I read the book, and now start to fill up when I know “that scene” is coming

A friend of mine broke his hip coming off on ice. He spent 3 months on crutches and tow years to get back to full health, though he has discomfort even now – can’t walk all day on the hills anymore.

If you think it’s worth cycling when you know there is a high risk of black ice, go ahead, knock yourself out!

For some of us, the bike is the only option 😉

This is rather relevant, as our’s is a complete psycho!

He’s recently made an official complaint to the Environmental Health about us walking too loudly around our house (I didn’t realise socks made that much noise!)

Last Friday, he’s screaming expletives through the wall at us, then as I set off cycling to work, tries to chase me in his car to run me down! 😯

My first bike was a Raleigh Strika, with a “pedal back” back brake – I was the best skidder in our street!

My first Mountain Bike was a Black Saracen Limited Edition

Luckily it’s a relatively flat journey, and a 6am start means I won’t be tempted with too many Commuter races!

My only concern is throwing it down the road on February ice.

Epsom’s pretty convenient for most places, but can be a real pain with the amount of drunk students that come out of the woodwork every night! (speaking as someone who lives here)

Just finished reading IT by Steven King. After 1300 pages I was a little underwhelmed by the ending…

Same as every other Stephen King book then. – Great story …rubbish ending!

collies are the best dogs but they do need constant stimulation.
is he bored? they have been bred to work alongside farmers for the whole of the farmers working day (12+hrs).
shouting at him will have no effect as this is giving attention.
reward by praise and punish by ignoring. snap fingers for attention, if he responds praise.
worst punishment for any dog but especially a collie is isolation
if your near me, ill train him for you

Jonah’s correct, they need a LOT of mental stimulation, and you should be prepared to do some kind of training with him every single day.
Have you considered approaching the breeder for advice?

I do have to ask though, what made you get a Border Collie in the first place?

I'll reitterate the comments so far, it's "ok" if applied properly; but doesn't beat regular washing & Waxing with quality products (insert favourite make here). I use Autoglym's 3 stage, followed by Collinite Insulator wax to protect.
