I use maxim active hydration tablets in my water if i am going on a 4+ hour xc ride.Sometimes use maxim energy bars(they are lovely, taste like ordinary food).

Use to use SIS but they are just to sweet and made my stomach feel rough.

The more you rest the quicker it will heal.
At one point i couldnt walk 15ft without getting totally breathless.
I lost 3 stone in 2 weeks due to coughing so hard i would be sick,i didnt sleep for 13 days and had started to hallucinate,i was in a bad way for 4 weeks, spent 6 days in hospital with a breathing mask on and loads of wires all over me.In the end they injected the anti-biotics directly into my blood stream, this was the highest amount you could give someone,i had blood taken every 3-4 hours to check the anti-biotics wern't buggering me up internally.

Nice rear shock that's too short(look at the link position) and a very nice pair of forks with rubber boots on.

That has knicked written all over it.

    I have a set of Revelation team maxle lite,Air u-turn 2010 150mm.

These are by far the best trail fork i have used, they are excellent, smooth as silk, lots of adjustments.Stiff and very light.

Think the revs just won a trail fork shootout in a magazine in the states.

Gave up with Formula the ones and sold them.Pad wear and lack of spares drove me to it.

Running Avid Elixirs now(i know they are sort of the same) and find them excellent.Have a a set of XX aswell but they are still in the boxes.

Hold the tool in a vice and use the frame to turn it in the correct direction and gently work it forward and back.Done a few like this.I usually leave them soak in wd40 for a day before.

If i remember correctly this can only be done to the newer style hub.
I would have thought that you would only need to pop the axle out adnchange the centre shaft.

If you have the Key code for the unit. You can try unplugging/removing the fuse for the Headunit.Leave it for an hour and plug it back in.

You have to have the kry code number to enter back into it or it will lock out.

I had 2nd degree burns many years ago when i worked for a dockyard,It involved an oxy-acetylene torch and my leg. 😡

I had to go to the doctors every day for 2 weeks to have the dressing changed and for them to re-apply what seemed like Vaseline(it could have been) this kept the area from drying out.I have no scars at all.

I have had a set for just over a year 1 yr 2 months. They have done a lot of miles and been to Cwmcarn Dh for an uplift day, they have also been to Gawton and Tavi and Cann woods so they seem quite indestructible.

Have had no problems with them.Strong and quite light.I weigh 16 stone and ride quite aggressively.I have just changed a couple of bearings in the rear hub.
I strip mine and clean out the freehub and re-lube them every 3/4 months.
Pickup is ok but is not even close to the I9's i had before.

I am trying to find some cash to build up a set of Chris kings with either stans alpine or mavic xm ust rims.

See if you can find a torx drive bit and gently tap it into the small hole where it has broken off and see if it will un-do.Pour hot water onto the caliper near where it is this sometimes helps.

It depends on year.My sx wheelset(one with white flowers or whatever they are meant to be) came with a the Qr's fitted to the rear, these just pull out with a pair of pliers, this leaves the 12mm through axle.

Find a wood screw and wind it carefully into it.And try pulling it out with pliers.

We have a gas oven/hob and a bottle lasts 3/4 months,Thats cooking every night for 3 people.

I brought a gas cooker because if we have a power cut we have no heating,so we can still cook and have some hot water and run the oven on a very low setting to provide some heat.
