Jedi- I have owned a few bikes with Dhx airs and have always sold the air to get a coil. The airs have always blown through the travel. They either are to soft and blow travel or to stop them from doing that they are harsh could never find a decent medium. They have always spiked on square edged hits, the dhx coil spikes on the high speed compression side and can be a bit wallowy in the mid stroke.

Have had 2 CCDB’s on bikes,Have always been faultless,As posted above it may take a while to find the correct setting and you need a bit of knowledge to understand the setting up.Once set its awesome, climbs better and descends quicker, what more could you want. The price is high but you get what you pay for.

My mate rides a spicy with a ccdb and loves it,Had a pushed rp23 on it before and that was good,The ccdb takes it to a new level of control and grip, comfort.

I have had a Nicolai Fr and now have an ION-st cant comment on the AC but both of my Nicolais have been brilliant, well made and mega stiff.I will be ordering another very soon.Lots of options to make it even more interesting, and always trying to chose a colour to finish it is a nightmare.

Last Sunday i came off a wooden bridge. It was soaking wet and has no mesh on it,It was very dull in the woods and i had no lights with me.As my front wheel reached the end of the bridge it slid sideways and the front wheel dropped int the swampy ditch chucking me OTB,I piled drove what i thought was bracken and grass, this turned out to be an old tree stump.I had sore neck and shoulder ache for 3 days and my Giro Zen when i looked has cracked through nearly everyone of the front stiffeners 😯

At least the helmet did its job.

Did my wrist a few years ago,Was painful as hell for a while. As others have said do exactly as they tell you and wait until its fully healed until you ride again.

Hop front wheel over and lighten the rear so it dosent slide.

This is coming from a bloke who went over the bars on Sunday and broke his Giro zen helmet 😥

Dosent make much difference as long as there is no collision under full compression.I ran my one the same way as Chilli on my Helius FR,Suppose it reduces the weight of the sprung mass on the rear.

If you ride those types of trails then i think you would be better looking at an AC,will easily build to 30lbs or less.
The AC is similar to the 575 and sl all are 140mm ish bikes and are a lighter frame.

Ja… to me For my Ibis build they will be, but I was planning a more gold themed event, worried now that mango might be spoiling the party..

I might be interested in them back.
