ARGH “Pedal strike”

Chris kings are very good,but like you say are a lot of money,and need very expensive tools to do a full service.Last years
Hopes are good value,but i broke a rear axle,and have had problems with pawl springs, and the pickup isnt that good,and seem to wear bearings quite quickly.
My favourites and what i am running at the moment are Hadley hubs,Easy to service and seem very reliable,Will be building another set of wheels on Hadley hubs,probably with Stans Alpine rims and cx-ray spokes.
I also have a set of Mavic SX’s with the latest 4 pawl hub,Been excellent have just replaced the Bearings after 2 years,riding all year a couple of times a week,including a few trips up to wales and an uplift day at Cwmcarn.

Ordinary plain old milk for me.

Avid XX and Avid elixir Cr carbons.

They will be to replace the XX brakes.I want larger rotors and i am riding more,Including steeper and more All mountain riding than XC.
Dont want to risk the XX for this as they are rated as XC brakes,so am buying some X0 in red to match the X0 red groupset i have on order.

Will have mine hopefully next week.

Using Juice lubes wet.Seems to last better than the Finish line wet,That seems very thin.
I also use Chain-L,very good and lasts ages.

Bos Stoy air

Went out yesterday.Did 15 miles felt like 50 miles

When me and a couple of mates went to Whistler riding,we took a break from the bike park and went to Fromme mountain to ride a few trails.
Half way up there was a stopping place with good views,my mate took a photo using his brand new camera,then i took a photo of them,my mate decided to put the camera on the roof of our car.That was the last time we saw it,almost….

Until i got home and looked at my photos,there it was on the roof,still makes me laugh that photo.

My revs were nearly dry in one leg from new,I always do lower services on forks when they are new.
The one exception is the Bos Devilles i have just brought.

I have a biube pure and its been excellent.
5 Neon tetras and 6 black phantom tetras and 4 shrimp.
They have been in there about a year and a half,change water and filters every few months.clean tank monthly,Easy.

Its made of very tough plastic/perspex.Has a filter unit underneath the bubble tower,Filter need changing every few months.Filter pack comes with cleaner pads and water additive.
Its very easy.
I have the auto light unit that haas a built in timer.

Mine have been very good,Still riding with them on now,Can be a bit interesting in deep mud.

Has your dyson got a Hepa filter,Mine had become blocked after about 4 years.Replaced this(available on ebay) it is located under the bin ,you have to remove a plastic cover to get to it,It looks very similar to the one you wash but it is different.

Sounds like you need to find yourself a good LBS.

i was concussed for a while 2 months ago after falling off a ladder at herts

Even a Jedi makes mistakes.

Broke my wrist earlier in the year,Its what happens if you jump something in a gusting cross wind.

Only had to suffer it on xmas day,Managed to share the whole turkey between 8 adults.
Had some beef left though,didnt mind that last night.
