Newer crank brothers are better, especially the Needle and cartridge bearing type.
Didnt have much luck with the plastic bushings in the older ones

There should be a spring washer fitted,if this is there you can get small packers(spacers) that fill up the spaces and adjust the chain line

Was made redundant after 13 years at the same Job,Was a bit gutted at the time,Decided to try a change,Had been Engineering/welding Fabricating for 17 years,HAve now been working in a bike shop Since May.Now thinking my ex employer did me a favour, A lot happier, not as grumpy, better conditions,I ride more and everything seem good. Was a drop in money, but i am so much happier.
I Finished on The friday, started at the shop on the Tuesday…

Good luck in finding a job,If you have skills/right attitude you will find a job.

leave them both running in there for a month,to allow bacteria to form in the new filter.

Goldfish are dirty fish,so need plenty of filtration and regular water changes

You could have your new frame Specced with a Cannondale lefty Headtube.Might be worth the extra money to save the hassle.

I have an AC 26er.have had for a few years now,Nicest bike i have ridden, perfect for xc/trail and playing around on.
Unless you are hitting DH tracks i would go AC,as someone has already said the new AC is 160mm fork ready so seems the new frame could have the capabilty of riding bigger stuff.

    Agree with munrobiker.

Most of the time its lack of maintenance,Also theres a lot of people who want things done instantly.
Theres always the few customers that i would like to tell to go away, but as i need a job,i keep quiet and keep smiling

If i am in the workshop, when i have finished the bike,i phone them,I will always leave a message on the answerphone if there is one.and if no answerphone will phone again after 3-4 hrs.

If we are waiting for parts,we try to book the job in for the day or next day after the parts are meant to arrive.

If parts are out of stock,i will phone the customer and tell them.and try to give a time scale based on the suppliers delivery date

I always try to phone back.
But as as mentioned, sometimes the shop/workshop is manically busy and it sometimes is delayed until the next day.

New versions (2013) dont need the sliders resetting,Theres a also a version without the lower boot, uses a standard lip seal to stop water/dirt ingress.
