Feel not enough attention has been given to that awesome Nicolai! I love it, great spec choice (apart from the brakes, obviously!) Great job

The brakes are amazing, lots of power lots of control.

Impressed with them so far,Wanted light but plenty of power, these have both.

Make sure that if it has a lever reach/bite point adjuster inside the lever that it is wound fully anti-clockwise.

if the screw is wound to far in it blocks the top up port.

I have a Troutie Spider eyes at the moment that Troutie (Chris) has lent me…I am very impressed, plenty of light, plenty of throw and who would have thought a square pattern would be nice to ride with.

    Check out Troutie lights..

    TLR-

Only have 30 miles on them.

Not from CRC.i work in a bike shop.

So far they feel very good,No mid travel blow through like the older ones i had.
Would have liked 20mm but had 15mm,and they seem stiff for a 32mm fork.
I did a lower leg service before fitting aswell,Actually had oil in them..

    As Orangeboy has said.

Remove the nut from the driveside and then pull the freehub body off.

Should have 2 pawls and a circular spring.

Also will have a Plastic carrier holding bearings.

All can be replaced for £12 ish.

I use grease thinned with chain oil.

Have used an Endura Convert softshell for a few months.

Find them less sweaty and seem to not get ripped on brambles as easily.
Standard fully water proof hardshells are sweaty and get ripped after a few rides. Will be softshell for me for now on

Went out 7 miles in the pouring rain..Had an issue with worn brake pads and ended up in a hedge..Cut ride short then and went home.

No rear brake would have been no fun.

Will pick up some new pads tommorow

If its like the other Dt hubs i have serviced,It needs 2 x Pawls that are £2.50 ea,A spring thats £2.50 and a Needle bearing kit thats £3.99 and maybe a few bearings if they feel rough.

Sounds like its just needs servicing.

Theres a dodgy segment local to me.

The descent has a full length time and a part of the track time.

The persons time is faster for the total than the partial segment.
