As above really .. some importers will get a frame to the shop next day and some it can take weeks, the bike shop is on your side as the longer they wait the more pissed off everybody gets. maybe send an email to the importers customer services …………

the water tasted like plastic a few years ago so take plenty, i have never needed lights there but it has always been sunny !!

take it easy at the start as it is easy to get involved in the team race!!

ive got a 2007 sworks – after 4 shock replacements spesh said they have rectified the problem and since then i have had no problems ( that was over a year ago). i love it , best bike i have ever owned. Friend of mine has a 2009 sworks , he is on his 2nd shock after 4 months. with regards to size the 2009 feels alot bigger and alot higher at the front.

some good advice already! I moved up a few years ago and what i found was the first year was just getting used to the longer distance and higher standard of racing. Then in your second and third year as a junior its your time to be at the front of the race.

With regards to training if you can ride with a faster/ stronger rider this will push you a bit harder and make training a bit more fun. if your not in a club or team try and join one.

Most of all enjoy it, A lot of youth and juniors loose intrest when cars, drinking and Girls come along.

    good luck
