friend i ride with a has a spark rc he loves it , this year he has ridden it at races/trail centers / cape epic etc and its held up well. they are bloody light.

2010 looks better but £1900 is a good deal !

its a really nice bike … long term project really wheels next then chainset etc etc and so on

£500 to have front and rear lockout from the bars seems alot, is there much spec difference ?

Been to Verbier the last two years .. loved it !!bit more singletrack based but good range of riding.

loved mine, had to sell due to space and cash but a joy to ride !

£100 a week … should be ok …… stay away from pubs

i run my cable over the top of the bars and run the cable hanger slighty off center, much better cable route but ugly.

if not do what some pros do and drill through the stem…then replace stem after every race 😉

surely that has to be a full service ! have you checked the bike for her to see what was done ?

been really happy with my sids , lovley forks

lighter tyres will make her feel a bit faster …… maybe change the pikes to something lighter …..

or buy an xc bike 😛

try south east as far out as you can get as after zone 6 you have the green belt/kent/northdowns which is ok for evening hacks etc
