I’ve got a Skilhunt H04 and it’s amazing. Small, goes from very dim for dark adjusted eyes to incredibly bright. USB rechargeable. Mine’s the RC version for the most diffuse light pattern.

The Wildfire S is very limited unless you root it and install link2sd which makes it just about usable. Get something with a bit more memory.

All else being equal, 26″ wheel are stronger than 29″ ones so if you want burly go 26″ (I ride a 29er)

Oh and +1 on the appalling grammar.

I drive a MWB High-top VW LT35 as my only vehicle. It does about 30mpg but I drive gently. I’ve converted it to a camper van so don’t pay extra on the toll bridge. I love the high driving position but it is difficult to park.

    What is most important:-

    Running costs
    A prestige vehicle
    Reliability
    A happy wife

Personally I’d want my wife to be happy with ‘her’ car. If I did a high mileage I’d want an economical car. I drive a 100k mile campervan, my wife has a newish MX5

Almax are the business when it comes to chains but beware they are VERY heavy. When I bought mine the customer service was terrible. It took ages to arrive and they promised me an upgrade to the series 4 and a spare cover neither of which arrived.

Im running 1210’s with a set of Tapco monitors with zero colour,i run through a soundcraft desk with plug ins and compressors ,limiters and delays, also have 3 samplers to choose the route through and there aint no better sound to be heard-?

I take to opposite approach; an Arcam 10 amp with no filters, tone controls or other gubbins to get in the way.

Interesting, there’s lots of votes against sub-fora and not a sing one for. I want to be able to ignore sub-threads that have gone off topic while continuing with the bit of the post that is still on topic. Without threading that’s impossible.

The ability to be able to return to the point last read would be the single biggest improvement to this otherwise rather good forum.

Why do you want a modern one? I’d buy a second hand Rega Planar II or III and a new stylus.

Compared to other forums and Usenet navigating on here is next to impossible; there’s no threading, no way of marking posts as read, no way of returning to a thread at the point you left, no way of blocking people or ignoring threads or subthreads and no plans (AFAIK) to do anything about it.

It depends on your objectives. If you want to try to change his behaviour then you have to confront him. If you want to remain a good relationship with a neighbour (and having bad neighbours is a terrible idea) then you need to tread carefully. I’d go with psling:-

Next time you’re all together, relate the story to him of how you were nearly taken out by some twonk in a car, etc., etc.. No need to mention that you know that it was him. Watch how he reacts

I’d re-build it first, especially if you can do the bearings yourself.

It does eat batteries, but if you’re using an HTC that’s no problem, given that you can carry a spare

Doesn’t taking out the battery cause the app to reset?

It’s a bit crap actually, I’m saving for a Sedgwick

I think nicknoxx can’t claim his is a ‘man cave’ it’s got a bunch of flowers in it!

Although that table saw does tend to redeem it

Flowers are for the campervan which is now in it’s winter ‘builders van’ mode. Table saw is superb.

Does anyone know what does happen to the wood?

Edit: Googled and infected wood will become bio-fuel and uninfected will be added to what the forest normal produces, mainly for fencing and construction.

I did a conversion on a 2004 LT35. It’s cheaper than buying a completed van but costs can add up. Windows, skylights, decent insulation, fridge, cooker, water heater are all expensive. You also need to have some skills in electrics, plumbing and carpentry. Very satisfying though.

I’ve got quite a few, the last 30 or 40 that someone could have. I’m in Herefordshire/Monmouthshire borders.
