Get yourself signed up to one of the forums. TZ-UK is the best IMO but you’ll need enough posts to access the sales area.

Good service from them too, unlike another company recently.

I’ve got loads of Eames furniture, my favourite designer is Poul Kjaerholm though where my collection is more focused. Not getting into the real v’s fake argument, suffice to say I wouldn’t entertain anything knock off full stop.

TurnerGuy, glad you found a quick cure! I have all the ‘OWN’s’ you mention and still yearn for more. The Speedy is one watch that doesn’t get worn a lot though, I don’t know why but I really should wear it more as it is such a classic.

I would relax. I never really thought about having kids much. However, my partner wanted a baby so I went with it (nervously at first). 11 months on I have a beautiful 7 week daughter and I couldn’t be any happier. I’m 30 so not much older than you, a business to run and lots of hobbies – having a child hasn’t really changed an awful lot. The feelings/love you have for your child can’t be beaten.

I have 6 at the moment, one is a ‘beater’ though. You’ll always fave favourites and a couple in my collection aren’t worn much so from now on it’s one in, one out.

Cheers, think I’ll stick with a 2×10 though to be on the safe side. I can always change to 1×10 I suppose easily enough. Would a 11-36 cassette and 26-38 up front be a sensible choice with a medium cage mech?

Apologise for the dumb questions, new to building a bike, if I go for 2 x 10, what size mech would I need? I see conflicting reports really so not sure what to go for. Also a bit stuck for chain ring sizes, I want something that’s good for all round riding, suitable for climbing and blasting down the other side. Any help much appreciated as itching to get the bike built now.

Sorry, was in a mad rush looking after a screaming baby

Any real particular reason Mackem, to go 10 rather than 9?

Tuskaloosa, thanks I’m in W Sussex but may take you up on your kind offer if I get stuck. Mine’s a medium frame, does anyone know if a 175mm fork steerer is suitable? I don’t have the frame to hand at moment to measure.

Thanks, have posted a wtd for some Sektor U turns, I am tempted to try the 150mm Sektors though as they’re clean….Can always change them I guess if they were really horrid.

Really sorry for your loss, a terrible terrible situation to be in. I am touched because my own daughter Isabelle was 6 weeks old yesterday so I cannot even begin to imagine your pain. Good luck to you and your family.

Mixed opinions so far ha! Out of interest, are the 2011 RS Sektor RL’s travel adjustable with a spacer removed? 130-140mm might be good..

Thanks again. I don’t own any forks yet, still just a frame/bits, just seen some nice Sektors which made me investigate. Just a bit reluctant to try 150mm really, as I can see it being a bit of a pig on the climbs albeit fun coming back down!

Few here, first up a William Gear acrylic and ink from 1959

The next two are both by Roy Turner Durrant, done in the ’60s.

I am massively into Modern British art (1950-1970s), mainly abstract works. Got a fairly large collection, but my favs have to be works by William Gear and Roy Turner Durrant. Will post pics if anyone is interested in seeing.

Thanks for the replies so far, looks like a 130mm fork is where I want to be then. Any specific fork recommendations, around £200 used? Cheers!
