Is NRW About To Close Coed Y Brenin?

I just found the original 2f0 on leisure lakes at £100,
that’s what I paid for them the month they launched from LL 2 years ago. Plenty stock online for between £50/70.
FWIW i have really enjoyed using the shoe, tough as hell and I haven’t had any issues with grip (burgtec user) however, I cant deny the sole shank is stiff (which i like) and the sole compound isn’t especially soft- so I suspect that some will find them lacking grip and they tend to be vocal about it.. Its a tough, lightweight and quick drying shoe and hasn’t let me down in any way. I know that’s just another anecdotal view but hey.
I’m looking to get the improved 2fo 2.0 which appears to address these issues completely.
nickhit3Free MemberAs it happens, I was just in a maternity ward for an obstetrics appointment with my wife- posters everywhere advising to get the flu jab. Wife has had it for number one and just recently again for child number 2. Get it done.
FWIW “does anyone have a reasonable authority on the subject?” your local healthcare authority does, trust them not a mountain bike website.
Congratulations btw!
nickhit3Free MemberI believe there is VR grot on Pr0nhub, too.
“I believe”
:lol:There is and- it’s definately what you wanted it to be when you were 13. I will say though, I’m merely an amateur not an authority on the subject. Worth noting though that as an emerging medium, it’s a serious target for malware etc which of course has been an issue for years with that type of dodgy content. It’s apparently quite an issue in the VR scud scene- this has been covered by mainstream tech media, so I’m not advocating looking for a how to on VR filth… Be wary if you’re venturing into that arena surrounding VR Thomas The Tanking is all I’m saying. Oh and lock the door ffs.
prefer keeping your thoughts pure and your trousers on? then there are numerous ‘rollercoaster’ games and ‘solar system’ apps out there that work well in VR if you’re a square.
nickhit3Free Memberi recently tried a google cardboard device and found i pretty impressive for such a low tech option. Mapping is really cool with it- but it feels like novelty tech at this point in time. I imagine an occulus rift experience being pretty cool if you are a gamer- i am not.
nickhit3Free MemberParktool HHP 2 FTW, does them all…
“reasonable on the wallet”
hmm
:lol:nickhit3Free MemberNew Yrok New Yrok, The Big Affle. So good they named it wrong.
nickhit3Free MemberNot looking good.. oh well. Maybe I’ll do the Sky phonecall anyway, see if they’ll reduce.
its a shame this, and i wish i didnt have to be negative as an ex employee! i think BT have got it right with the newest fibre customers like myself, but we are lucky. The BB is genuinely good imo. Everything else including customer service and TV? still, a lottery.
nickhit3Free MemberNick – like you, I am FTTP and it works well. The sticking point comes if you ever want to change supplier. No-one else among the big players will touch it, except for a couple of smaller companies who will want more £££.
indeed. this was largely my feeling when we researched the market when the contract was up. BT remained cheaper. We had to install a BT service because they/openreach are the only company in the uk who take the fibre into the building- a BS quirk of the new build experience we learned.. ‘a brand new house you say? with internet?’ don’t be so silly..’ Try a cable sticking out of the mud gaffered to a windowsill on the exterior of the property the day you get the keys.
nickhit3Free MemberI am a BT FTTP Infinity 1 customer and I cannot fault the product service I have had, I’d say it’s been the best internet i have paid for since first getting any domestic BB installed years ago. Not one drop of service or speed in 15 months (new build property) Recently renegotiated a cheaper 24mo- other options on the market were more costly.
I would however under no circumstances defend their broad customer service which completely deserves all the criticism you hear about. The only glimmer of light is that the team who are responsible for FTTP customers like myself are UK based only. This is specific to FTTP customers not regular FTTC fibre customers. If its FTTP, you’re in luck as those teams have been a pleasure to deal with. Anything else, woeful.
During the set up of my service (taking the line physically into the property involving OpenReach) on two separate occasions over 2 months, their overseas call centres attempted to install copper phone lines into the building (this was cancelled on both occasions anonymously without my knowledge-leaving me wondering what was happening as the engineer date(s) rolled by with no engineer-3 weeks of time wasted) despite repeated instructions from me that this was a FIBRE TO THE PREMISES enquiry. Turns out it should have been nothing to do with the teams i had spent the previous several weeks talking to and an entirely unconnected department. They are a shambolic disjointed mess of an organisation on many levels as far as the end user is concerned. And i used to work for them!
cannot comment on TV but i am inclined to believe the horror stories there. I’m a ‘happy’ Sky customer on that front.
nickhit3Free MemberPinch of salt, you can buy make-up if you like
phew. these brows don’t just happen.
nickhit3Free MemberDon’t get into debt. Save up for stuff you want because by the time you’ve saved up you probably won’t want it. Make do and mend. Buy clothes from charity shops when you need to buy clothes. Don’t buy make-up or any other other shit you’re sold because you’re not ‘perfect’ enough. You really don’t need a new car that you’ll never own on PCP, or a new plastic bike on credit. Walk or ride instead of driving. Affordable housing isn’t really affordable but it is a good way to get more people into debt for a good chunk of their lives.
what the..? are these the rules you live by Kayla or should we take this with a pinch of salt? “Don’t buy make-up or any other other shit you’re sold because you’re not ‘perfect’ enough”
seriously?
Kidding aside, I am increasingly losing patience with my current job as it turns out, but sadly it doesn’t allow for any reduction in hours or negotiation as I understand it- it wont happen in my current situation. Plans are afoot to change this next year but we have a second child on the way so that’s about the most important consideration for me right now in terms of work life balance.
Anyways, it was just an idle silly question – some above seem to be measuring their manhood and comparing their lot to others. That wasn’t the spirit of my frivolous original post.
nickhit3Free Memberand the person running that shift…is an atheist! go figure. personally i couldnt care less.
nickhit3Free MemberJeez- I never considered this before this thread came along. Interesting stuff. Not sure I’d be happy without a spare of some description. Using sealant sounds like more of a nightmare. I’m Happy that the punctures I’ve had to change to date have all been happily resolved with a spare. Apart from that one time I attended a damsel in distress who had the same car… she’d got the wheel nuts off but rim was seized on. Couldn’t shift it. Left her after 10 minutes of trying. Probably dead now. Didn’t realise it was common practice to find modern cars without spares. Seems madness.
nickhit3Free MemberStand up for yourself.
Don’t let the bastards grind you down.
Laugh a lot.
Farting is never not funny.
Learn the drums and do it well- you’ll always have a gig.
Buy the best you can afford at the time/buy cheap buy twice.nickhit3Free MemberYes. Never had an issue only using defender. And I look at some dodgy crap let me tell you.
nickhit3Free MemberIs everyone talking about the new 2.0 2FO? I have the original 2FO but thought the new one is supposed to be grippier
Yup. I think most here didn’t read the thread title.. I own the originals and concur with the above statements, although haven’t really found a ‘lack of grip’ with the first gen model. I moved from saints to Mk4 penthouse pedals and that was a significant improvement- so I’m giving that improvement to the pedal. Will be looking to get a pair of the 2.0 next year I think. The improvements seem great according to the info I’ve seen on them so far. Seem to be readily available online. Hoping to catch some in a sale, the rrp is a little steep atm.
nickhit3Free Member@ DezB any chance you could ‘shop a joint into the ‘mouth’ of Mr Alien Spider there? I’m facing a crap day at work today and it would really get me through.
Also, are tarantula’s ‘bird eating’? im sadly not an entomologist, and far be it for me to question a Mail article for authenticity- they’re normally always bob on- but can we fact check that?
nickhit3Free MemberWho am I kidding? It’s a bikini wearing 0.4 here in Aberdeen and I’m currently feeling guilty for working out how long my mother in law might continue to live, according to diet, age, early years circumstances, fatal wounds from a blunt instrument…

how come Ton can swear?
He is a stealth ubermod
Leeds is grim but is it a swearword?
nickhit3Free Memberanyone know Mackay’s in Aberdeen? im 34 and its been there all my life- unlike me who left Aberdeen 5 years ago. An incredibly weird clothing emporium. Those who know, know..
nickhit3Free MemberThe thread calls for cock-ups that you didn’t know about, not for ones that you decided to ignore.
yep. im a better home mechanic now for discovering these things, but its embarrassing. particularly when you think you know what you’re doing.
nickhit3Free Memberpostierich has got it right. Very smart for a shorter style. I have long hair to just below shoulder, and a thickening beard. Work is easy to find this time of year #nativity
I have been, at various times in my life, been likened to Russel Brand, Jesus of Nazereth, ‘all of the Kings of Leon at once’, Kid Rock and Lars Ulrich amongst others. Sometimes in a single day/4am kebab shop. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger they say.
the standard method is
long hair – short trimmed beard
long beard – short trimmed hair
long beard long hair – not looking after yourself vibeso I would neaten the beard to a consistent length if you are going to keep longer hair, the layers sound like a good idea
sound advice.
nickhit3Free MemberDid he cook dinner whilst doing it?
haha. i dont know. i can only imagine the result.
nickhit3Free Membersome are taking this very seriously. What’s the world coming to when a guy can’t make a post alluding to predatory static trainer/sexual abuse from a MAMIL in the workplace?
nickhit3Free MemberI’m not sure why that piece of information, be it true or not, makes IQ a dodgy measure?
ask yourself? when was the last time you saw a Kalahari Bushman do a TED talk?
exactly.
*this is not my wheelhouse
nickhit3Free MemberHe sounds like a fun guy,is he training for a really hard sportive ?
i don’t know. should i ask him? i don’t want to lead him on or seem interested. He might become exited again. I don’t want that. Not after last time.
nickhit3Free Memberprivet
nah, he seems alright to me. no shame in it, we all want some peace now and again.
nickhit3Free MemberWhat an idiot if he did do 8 hours, no point doing more than 1.5 and for most an hour is a decent max. Christ I hope he’s had kids already, ‘cos he won’t have any after regular 8 hour efforts on a turbo.
he has two already. amusingly this year alone, he tells me he’s probably spent thousands on carbon wheels and an ‘etap system’ (i dont know what that last one is)
I once thought ppl like this were stereotype exaggerations for comic effect. He isn’t.
nickhit3Free MemberZwift, that’s what it was. Never heard of it before. Sounds horrible.
nickhit3Free Memberi think it was 8 hrs. there was an 8 in there. either way i was zoning out when i saw him approaching me eagerly with it out (iphone)
nickhit3Free MemberIt’s already been mentioned on this thread but I’d be happy with a ban on swearing directed at folk but OK otherwise.
+1
nickhit3Free Memberis that why i cant click on his username..? curiously i cant on yours either Perchypanther. hmm.
