My neighbour and me went riding on Cannock Chase – decided to stay away from the ‘normal’ trails and go find some new riding…. chase was rammed with MTB enthusiasts…. found somewhere to park and 3 hrs later had ‘discovered’ a whole new loop that we will now incorporate into weekly rides… 😛

My xbox redringed – had it repaired under the microsoft recall scheme – works ok but now and then plays up – I lift the console up about 1/2″ and drop it down and it fixes it every time (make sure no disc is in the tray first) – only use console in horizontal never upright as the disc can get badly damaged otherwise.
Overall, great console – used on hd monitor – graphics first rate.

to build up power & speed – swim off the great barrier reef with a steak tied to your leg 😉

Well as you can easily deduce, this car was built at Rover probably on a Tuesday morning / afternoon, for this reason alone it is far more desirable than a Rover that was built on a Friday afternoon, hence I think this classic shall go for at least £1500, Ebay ? why not Sotherbys ??

I didnt know the old railway line carried on all the way to Telford – I usually get off at Gnosall where it crosses the canal and ride down to Wheaton Aston, from there the lanes into Penkridge and then pick the canal back to stafford through Acton Trussell back on to the Meadows where I live, could prob do it quicker than 3 hrs but there is some great scenery / wildlife to see and I always have a break at W/Aston..

Like I stated earlier, the dog knows its place – when I am home alone the dog is so quiete you dont know its there – I walk it, it responds to me etc, I dont hate it or anything – and its genuinly a great family dog, its just the weird behavioural pattern it has when my wife is in….

Trail centres are ok – like at the moment a lot of Cannock Chase is quarrantined unless you stick to the fire tracks -due to a fungal desease, this does not affect the ‘follow the dog trail’ so we can at least still get out and ride..

I can make a longish ride out of Stafford along old railway line, canal, country lanes and back home along a different canal – takes 3 hrs and burns legs – other than that off piste trails on the chase..

Its just a location thing – whos spoiled for choice etc. Some MTB’rs are isolated from any trail centres and others such as Dyls have lots to choose from..
My nearest ride is the DOG at Cannock Chase, next nearest is probably Llandegla 50 miles away…

We can all ride out from our back yards – nearest trail centres ?

The dog is very well behaved generally – it loves playing with my Granddaughter and it is as gentle as a lamb, I have trained it, I think its just a very jealous dog and does not like having to share my Wifes attention..
As a blokey bloke – no nancys go MTB do they ? – I find it irritating and usually say so but I have learned to keep it in and say nowt…

The dog always greets the Mrs when she arrives home …. I think basically it wants to protect her, wife does not pick dog up and cuddle it, she talks to it a lot tho’ especially when she does house work and it follows her about, or she is brushing / feeding it etc..
I just let them get on with it most of the time – until – back to top of topic..

Its funny, but this dog is like a mouse when I am home and my wife is out, you dont know we have a dog…. honestly.
But as soon as the Mrs comes in… back to the top of the topic and read down again….

This dog is walked every morning , day & night – we live close to Cannock Chase where we take it in the nice evenings / weekend days etc… The bloody thing is worse if it has not had a walk…. PLUS, I would never hit an animal… its just this one is strange to say the least…

I like to go to bed early and read, if I get out of bed to go to the bathroom the crazy mutt goes bonkers, its like being told off for getting up like kids do…
I would go ape but the dog barks even more and growl periodically at the mrs for ages so it just is not worth the hassle…
