WHATS THE POINT OF ALL THE WARNING SIGNS ??

I have been out this morning – admit that it was 11:30 start, so expected to see a fair few hikers, familys – dogs etc on Cannock Chase.
My mate and I did perhaps 1 hr in the valley taking up the less used trails and then we worked over to do the ‘DOG’.
The ‘DOG’ is described as a “technical trail” best suited to experienced riders… however I passed 2 familys in different parts with children about 5 – 6 yrs on argos bikes.. not fun, Bank Holiday Madness if you ask me.. going to ask Chase Trails their view of this type of usage..

I always keep Dr Alban – Its My Life on my pod – seems like a personnal anthem to me.

I did Nant for the first time at Easter, did some extra bits cos my mates had been b4 and knew the layout… went back for more 10 days later (110 miles from my house)… looking to go again soon

I have done this for years and not one swallow has been hurt, they come to look under my gable but get frightened off by a simple length of cotton dangling from under the gable – on the end of the cotton I have tied a small ball of kitchen foil which moves around in the breeze… swallows ignore my gable while have nested under neighbours…

Ive been twice – not my local ride but on both occassions encountered…

Penmachno is simply a ball ache if your fitness level is low – but probably the better bet if its wet, the Marin can get very boggy in places.. but as suggested CyB has all the choices and its the only one with a trail centre.. Although there is a nice cafe near the bridge as you come back into Betsy when you finish the Marin..

I came across a dog walker on the ‘DOG’ on Sunday – and the trial was very busy … – I told him that he was on a dedicated bike trail and he, the dog and worst of all the sporting person in all of this would get hurt…. He muttered something so I definately told him in no uncertain circumstances that he was a total f&&&ing idiot… I am a dog owner (well the Mrs is) – you simply do not do things like this.

I bet the skydiver on tonights news thought he was… 6000 ft fall and survived – prob on utube somewhere… he was filming another skydiver who forgot to signal him to open his chute..

I was up there on our normal Sunday morning ride – had to keep crossing the course cos our usual route takes us through Tackaroo down the lumpy bit that follows Penkridge Bank Road, so all said and done was actually riding on the ‘circuit’ crashed into some tape and got dragged off my bike cos it wouldnt snap above birches valley so found our selves back on the circuit… I should have won the bloody race the way I was going.. my mate laughed his head off when I nearly garroted myself cos my brakes were fouled up and soaking wet and my tires did not want to grip either so my bike would not even slow down… Big Up to all that entered .. course looked very very heavy indeed.

Cannock – the valley + the Dog, Sunday morning – then night ride Wed night from 8pm.. only dark will do.

Nicked my full bouncer for a ride along the Tissington Trail a couple of weeks ago !

Ive used them twice with no problems, you will need to show the card you paid for the tickets on if you have to collect them at the venue I believe, tho my tickets always arrived early.

What Happened is …. Kate farted, Pete bent over to sniff it, but his timing was wrong cos no papazzi where about…. Kate got in a huff, and told Peter to **** off and stop being such a useless **** round her when the papazzi were’nt there….
