Flew over me and my mate near Stafford as we were heading for Cannock Chase for a ride this morning – very low – 2 formations -(about 10:45am) heading Northish..

When my daughter was younger (27 now) we gave her weekly pocket money and she also had 'her' family allowance (as it was then) as soon as we drew it for her… (I think it was paid once a month ?) cannot remember now.
It worked well, as we also obviously brought her clothes and paid for any other school bits and bobs that were required..
But she always had money in her purse.. (and she saved)

I think it should be made illegal for pensioners to drive on the roads between 4pm and 7pm.. So we can all get home easier after work.

PT, how many times have I told you its my Mrs who does that 😉

I clean my bike thoroughly only when I strip it down for servicing..
Generally, during summer time rides its a rare event.. basically chain clean, stanchoins cleaned and then general lubing.
Winter rides mean a higher frequency of wash downs due to transporting the bike inside my car..

I live very near the Chase but cannot think of any bike friendly B&B's

I have an 04 Civic 1.6 – 5 dr SE trim, besides normal wear and tear – in 64k miles I have had absolutely nothing go wrong, there are no rattles, MPG is good enough for me and as already stated the rear with seats down will take 2 bikes with wheels removed off the frames.

I dont think its a pleasure for my Mrs, you ought to hear her moan, sometimes almost howling, puts me right off.. 😯

I drive a Honda Civic SE 1.6, (04)
Owned from new, traded in my 51 plate Focus Ghia, (also from new)
Didnt want to change the Focus but needed more rear space and the Honda gave me all I needed.
I have to admit that the Honda feels better than the Focus and the engine is superb.

I dont want to upset anyone, but I've been off work all this week, its been wall to wall sunny most days, great rides in the sun this week just gone – including this morning when I got quite hot..
Thursday was the best day, went to Chatsworth (in Derbyshire) really warm all day and well into the evening !
Back to reality 2moz but at least I can smile.. 8)

Theres a town somewhere or other that was on the news for putting up the Christmas lights in August, just cannot think where tho'
