Trailfinder as above but rides a wider area. Followed a few of his routes generally excellent.

1. Campsite at montriond looks pretty good. Decent location. We’re just back from a few days at fort bill for the worlds and we all enjoyed camping more than we thought we would even though it was pretty wet on the Friday and Saturday.

I’m going to fort bill for the dh and then the xco at glentress. 4 of us staying at Glen Nevis campsite looking forward to chilling out at the campsite after the races.

Haven’t been for a few weeks but dalby rides really well in the wet.

Tickets not checked at top normally

I did the same. Bought the best tickets available after signing up for the pre sale months in advance. I have hotel and camping booking’s so need to be certain I had some tickets. I couldn’t take a chance on not getting anything so I got gondola for Friday and non gondola for Saturday. Today there’s 2 day packages with gondola available. What’s the point of signing up for tickets months in advance and waiting in a long queue on presale day to not get the tickets you want

I’ll be fuming if they release more gondola tickets for the Saturday after buying non gondola ones as the gondola tickets where sold out.

Got the link just after 12 and was in the queue for about 90 minutes no gondola tickets left for Saturday but managed to get some for Friday. The gondola queue was terrible last year waited about an hour when every other year it’s been pretty much a walk on.xc sold out for the Saturday but loads of 4 day passes left.

I think I might give gx axs a try found it for well under £400 for the upgrade kit.

Thanks for the replies so far. Interesting that sram and shimano 12 speed now work together always found Xtr to be buttery smooth so worth looking at. I do fancy gx axs it’s going on a new bike so might be worthwhile spending a bit extra and selling the mechanical gx fitted to the bike now and replacing with axs.

Different route every year. I think entries are available from start of November not sure but I think route is announced then.

If the alloy will work as well as the steel then yes that’d be great.

Spoke to a guy on the dt Swiss stand at ard rock today about what freehub I’d need to fit a shimano 11 speed cassette. He said there wouldn’t be any available in the uk until 2024 as they weren’t expecting many of these wheelsets in the uk so didn’t order many replacement freehubs but then CRC bought in a load of grey import stock. If anyone knows the Part number for The shimano freehub can you can you provide it please.

I’m in the process of building up one of last years frames. Not finished yet but I’m very happy with the quality and finish of the frame and forks.

Probably,mine is creaking really badly recently. Service kit is about £15 and looks pretty easy to do.
