If you’re somewhere up North take it to Moonglu in Ripon. They just sorted my CC for me. Great service.

I think an announcement will be made in due course as to who is taking over. I don’t want to jump the gun lol.

Thanks for the positive reports, apologies for the less so ones lol.

I’ll still be selling Gloworm in the New Year but distribution will be switching to a large company. I simply was struggling to keep on top of everything myself. Warranty will be handled by them from 1st January, phew!

I have plenty of stock now at last and the STW discount is still in place.

    Hi guys

The stock did arrive last Friday as stated on the website. All outstanding orders have been shipped on Friday and today so if you have not already received your light you will tomorrow with APC Overnight.

A number of warranties couldn’t be resolved until stock arrived. These will be dealt with tomorrow.

    Hi skyraider

All outstanding orders will be fulfilled this week I’m incredibly relieved to be able to say.

I’ll be going through emails this afternoon.

No worries dorsetknob, I’ve just had loads going on as only a one man band and allowed my usual high standards to a slip a little. Apologies for that.

Andy – I have emailed you.

    Hi dorsetknob

Assuming you are who I think you are, I was out on Friday so only picked up your email up today and refunded at 9ish as requested. You maybe hadn’t seen that before posting.

It’s not a great situation but 2015 stock is slower than anticipated coming through. I have contingency stock coming in from the US this week, tried to get some from another EU Gloworm distributor but having said they were supplying some they are out of stock now too.

Can only apologise for the delay.

Nothing happened to me but thanks for caring lol. Sorry been very busy and waiting on stock from Gloworm which is delaying a few warranty jobs unfortuntely.

I’ll check on yours now Scott and email you.

    Hi guys

Apologies, been away for a few days so only just seen this.

Mike and Dan we had a problem with a batch of parcels with the courier. Both the X1 light head and Battery packs were reshipped yesterday on a next day service so should be with you today.

I’m a hayfever suffering contact lens wearer but a combination of Cetirizine tablets and nasal spray has pretty much meant no issues any more.

You want the nasal spray with Fluticasone Propionate in – branded as Pirinase I think but you can get unbranded generic versions. Either go to the docs for a prescription or buy some over the counter at a chemist.

I used Beconase spray before which was OK but this stuff is awesome.

The best I’ve tried is the Inyangi Nubutte Butter – all natural, lasts really well. Comes out of the pot like a thick paste but softens with warmth of your hands for application.

Also works well as a healing cream for grazes, scrapes, etc as it has antibacterial ingredients.

PlanetX sold it but it’s disappeared from their site now. http://www.inyangi.com/products/nubutte-chamois-butter-regular-size-4-oz-118-ml

Only been once a couple of years ago with the family – we went at the end of the season (couldn’t have coped with the heat in the Summer!)

To balance what’s been said, in October it was quiet as a lot of the hotels were closed. We enjoyed our time there but did get out of Mamaris a fair bit.

My wife is blonde but we had no issues with disrespectful guys. In fact the locals we met were genuinely decent people, we actually kept in touch with one local family we met.

The hills behind Mamaris had some cracking trails which outside the Summer would be great for mountain biking.

Booked on 44km one. Love the fact that if you feel good on the day you can switch to the 66km ride mid-ride or at morning registration, nice touch that.

Based on my own riding dress sense I’m glad there are no rules for MTB.

I do shudder though when my mate turns up for rides on his bright orange Orange Five wearing white, pastel blue and pink lycra bibs and no baggies but with massive Sam Hill 5 10s. That’s just wrong, I always make sure I’m riding in front. In profile he looks like a camp golf club.

Recently got an Atera Strada DL 3 with extra bike rail for 4th bike.

Really pleased with it, awesome bit of kit. Roofbox were excellent to deal with too. They were out of stock when I ordered it but I needed one for a weekend away. They loaned me an alternative demo carrier for a week until the Strada arrived.

I’d been using a mates Thule Euro 3 bike carrier on long term loan before as he uses roof carriers now. It was well made, perhaps felt a bit sturdier than the Strada but the Atera is easier to mount to the towbar and easier to mount the bikes.

Managed to get 4 bikes on several times now with very little cursing or having to take them all on and off lol.

My folks live just outside Barny and I’m over nr Newton Aycliffe about 20 mins away.

It’s a great part of the world up here.

Lots of riding whether you want family friendly cycleways like the old railway path from Cotherstone to Middleton in Teesdale or moorland riding around Hamsterley, Egglestone, on the Pennine Way, across the A66 around Barningham and the Stang Forest and over into the Yorkshire Dales. You’ve got Hamsterley Forest which gets better every year and Whinlatter is only an hour away. Basically it’s surrounded by places to ride on or off road.

North Yorks Moors, Yorkshire Dales, Lakes, Northumberland etc are all within a reasonable distance for days out.

Maybe consider Staindrop as well for secondary schooling, I seem to hear better things about the school there than the one in Barnard Castle.

jacob – I have some ex-demo and now/old stock Gloworm X1s in stock I could do a good deal on. Not £50 but certainly a lot less than RRP to include a small 2 cell battery pack that will give you around 2.25 hrs runtime.

    Hi st66

Sorry I haven’t seen your email. Could have missed it as I’ve been exhibiting at the London Bike show so away since last Wednesday morning and only got back at just before midnight last night. I have been checking mail whilst there but during a busy show it might have slipped through.

You have a 2 year repair or replace warranty on the Gloworm so there is certainly no need to buy another light. Could you fire an email to danny at crgmoto dot co dot uk and I’ll get it sorted for you?

Someone who won a competition for tickets I ran can no longer attend so I have a spare ticket again.

Kid cragg – I have sent you one.

So that leaves one for the first to respond.
