The carcass is attached to the bead, but still don’t look good.

Have you always had enough pressure in them when riding?

I think the origin of this comes from a cyclist being most vulnerable when making a cross traffic turn and removing the option of grabbing a handful of front brake during the process.

I’m not sure which laws or trading standards are relevant. And every new bike should have a bell and reflectors fitted
    .
Personal opinion, I would have another polite word for their own sake. Do they have a competent mechanic who can bleed brakes?

New owners should be warned of this and, at least, given the option to swap over.

Silly question but are you going the right way?

Large water pump pliers, assuming the BB is dead.

I have used the Tesla Mk 1 for a while with no problems, but added a nice seal of grease before first use, otherwise the dry installation could have caused premature bearing failure.

Had one complete wheel from them. True but very far from tight.

Excellent service from these guys including warranty with free return postage on their account, which confused the hell out of the local post lady who would not read the supplied instructions.
Delivery is as above, about 2 or 3 days with full tracking.

There is a glitch on their site, last time I used them, the basket can revert to prices in Euros so double check the total before committing to buy, and avoid a conversion banking charge, if you miss it.

Another vote for the Salsa EM here. Latest version fits a tapered steerer and easy option to run SS/rigid in the winter too.

I’m looking for new rear wheel options too, possibly less tasty, and interested if anyone has experience with the Goldtec SS hub?

How about if you chuck the bike in on it’s own, will it float then?

Is your new position a big change from what you are used to? If no, cut sooner. If yes. cut later.

What size is your frame and headtube length, obviously the larger the frame the more selling options you have?i
If you have an XS small frame are you happy with the fork or thinking about swapping it already?

Otherwise throw all logic out of nearest window, just drive the star nut down and cut.
