    Hope you use a coaster.

But the 1080 is what is included with the table.

    1400 = £60

    Festool 1080 rail = £50.

I’d be impressed if you didn’t spill any.

It would be easier to modify the existing arm than build a new one, and would then require heat treatment and re-finishing.

Pair of height adjustable trestles, like these.

Top made out of 18mm plywood to the size you need, screw some stops on the underside. Cut a thinner strip to sit on the lower leg horizontal braces for a shelf.

Rated at 150kg so you also work on top for decorating and the like…

    As above for the pair,

Separately, flange head or cheese head machine screw and flanged threaded insert or cap nut.

As above, some used Recons with an air spring would be the best bet.

I would get another Feedback if I ever need to buy again.

    Do you want less travel?

    Definitely points for trying.

    Performance is the same.

Buy XT if you want shiny bits, (vague) bite point adjust and threaded pad pins.

Sorry Readikus, Top cover and Pick n Mix.

Having a little early celebration here.

AKA Top cap, sorry, I don’t think they are available separately but I could be wrong. The easiest option may be to get a new top set from the Mix N Match and you’ll have some spare parts and bearing.

Plates onto the rear axle, seat clamp with an extra set of lugs (Problem solvers?), metal pipe P clips or armoured cable cleats direct on to seat stays.

Keep it going, stay well clear until you get to the point where you don’t feel the need at all. Then you can decide if and when you want to indulge. Good luck, enjoy the freedom.

I had a warranty return to them which I expected to be a bit of a fight. The issue disappeared for a while so I sent them a query email, the refund appeared the same day as I received a reply, which obviously could have been a coincidence, or they needed a reminder.

As above, a decent set of moles, you only really have one or possibly two chances with this method.

Any exposed threads, lay into them with a wire brush.

The OP’s M530 should be nearly identical to the XT in terms of platform/contact points, no? Would the DX provide more actual support? Struggling with the floaty feel of SPDs myself, albeit with “cageless” M520’s, but I’m also worried that M530/XT Trail won’t make much difference.

All the “trail” (530, XT, XTR) type pedals are very similar in size and shape. The main benefits, to me, are the ease of clipping back in and some impact protection.

The body in the DX is set very low in the cage, so there is more sole support from the pedal. With deep tread shoes, Mavic Alpine, I can’t fully clip in without putting a plate spacer under the cleat. They work well with a flatter sole, I use Tevas.

If you want to stick with Shimano have a look at the DX M647 pedals.

The clutch should only affect the cage moving forwards, not in both directions.

Pull the cage forward with the chain, you should feel the clutch working. Let go of the slack and the cage should spring back and take up the slack.

Circs as I suspected then, but still not clear on who is saying the car must be crushed and why?

    piha –
Her insurance company have informed her of the decision to destroy the car. They have also told her that at least one other insurance company have decided to destroy their clients car.

Phia – Sorry, I have no experience of this kind of situation.

I’m not sure if the car would be broken for spares or some special control would be imposed for the complete entity to be recycled.

    So what actually happened?

I think car A hit the pedestrian, cars B to F then also hit person in road, not other cars.

All rims have a join, should only cause an issue if the joint is seriously out of alignment.

Could be badly set up pads, try a bit of toe in first.

OP for clarity – Are you saying your friend, and others, also hit the pedestrian after the initial collison?

Second hand sales usually drop off until the autumn, if you want to wait.

What do you want them to do though?

You seem to be asking the same question again.

Too many people seem to think being allowed to drive is a right, it is not. It should be respected for what it is and denied if that person can not take the responsibility seriously.

Bit of insulating tape round the prongs to bulk them out a bit.
