They’ll need to offer more than that.

Those ladies get pretty fierce when you try to get the markers and cards out of their hands.

I often find myself thinking this station is called 6Music not 6ChatALoadOfShiteAndThenGushABit.

He often has children on and yes he does come across as creepy, at least we have Tom Raisencroft today.

I think the production costs would not be viable.

Yes there is a £20 limit, so depends how safe you are with you cards.

With a FS you will more than likely need a medium cage mech to fit an oversized sprocket later, which also gives you the option to run a limited 2×10 setup too.

Depends on the age of the Trek frame, assuming it comes with a shock and is a headset included?

Is it a bigger frame with a longer headtube, will the fork steerer be long enough?

Check the BB, should be threaded, and rear axle, either QR or bolted.

Front mech could have the same mounting and you may need a seatpost but they are cheap enough if you do need them.

IMO the frame is scrap, latter models were overbuilt to compensate and are generally on the heavy side. You could get a bit of money back selling the swing arm and shock if they are in decent condition.

I have some old Lake boots, unlined with the Boa mech, still going strong, wide toe fitting available too.
I would look at Lake again when I need some more.

I think you were being very clear and it was my reading that was poor.

That’s too big for a coke can shim IMO as you will need five wraps.

You can buy aluminium sheet in various sizes and thicknesses from the universal auction site, although 0.5mm is likely to be the thinnest you will be able to buy.

You could make up any difference between the shim and the headtube with JB Weld, for large gaps, or green Loctite/permanent thread lock compound, if a tighter fit.

You can also go round the headset cup sleeve with a centre punch, the raised edge around the punch mark will give a slightly large overall diameter.

There should be a wedge shaped spacer, with a split in it, to locate the inner race of the upper bearing. LBS should have one going spare.

    I have a Lev here, 100mm travel 27.2.

With the post fully down, centre of rail clamp to the highest usable portion of the static post is 65mm.

Assuming the design is the same for the larger diameters, for a 150mm travel post you would need 215mm showing. If 200mm is your limit then a 125mm would be the safer bet.

I’m curious too. Is it a bit like sex without a condom?

Yes, it feels better but could get very messy.

Accepted times for trades are 8 to 6 monday to friday, 8 to 1 on Saturday. Nothing to stop DIY at any time but a polite word would be acceptable IMO.

young kids are not aware of their surroundings and…..This sort of thing happens……

Completely the parents fault in that video and lucky too.

It’s not the same as a kid using the trails to learn bike skills.

It is a shared space for sharing.

whilst I mostly try and slow down or make ample room when passing other cyclists or pedestrians

That’s behaving like a prick driving their hot hatch badly.

ST axle length determines your chainline, so yes get the correct BB for the chainset.

The Tevas are good, as Ton above, but the company have decided to stop making bike shoes, not sure exactly why.
I have strange shaped feet and they work for me.
I have a set where the outsole reinforcing, at the ball of the big toe, split just after a year of not too heavy use.
I tend to trash the soles of 5:10s so wanted something with more durability but ride with SPDs most of the time.

Pour some thin oil down the seat tube and let it sit for a day or two, looks like it’s been in there for a good while.

If you have access to a work bench, vice and the right tool, put the tool in the vice and use the frame for leverage.

That’s just a cup, you can pull the whole BB from the drive side and with the load off that should come out.

Might be a good idea to get some penetrating oil into the shell first.

If it’s really tight and you are using an open ended tool on the drive side you can put a penny washer and crank bolt in to stop it slipping out of the splines.

I think they want the victim to be fully aware of the situation.

I believe a tactic used is that the execution scenario is reenacted as part of the torture so, often, it is not the first time the victim has gone through this ordeal.

What they want is all infidels to be put to death. At the same time, by their standards, defiling the corpse and not allowing the soul entry to their version of paradise, that I find odd.

Try not to confuse the hollywood hero escape scenario with a situation where the victim has been overpowered, humiliated and tortured before being executed.

OP yes it should work and I can’t see a better solution without fixing into the wall.

To get the frame stiff, cut some triangular gussets out of plywood and fix to both sides of the timber joints. You will probably need to make the legs into a square and connect the top of the uprights together, for the rigidity to hold four bikes.

If it is something you would want to use again you could get the uprights and arms made from steel or aluminium box section.

    EDIT to the post above.

Sounds like Ulnar nerve pressure to me. Have you tried rotating the grips?

Sit on your bike and loosely put your hands on the grips, take your time, feel where there are hollows or pressure points between your hand and the grip. Rotate to get a better position.

Has the problem got worse with the Ergon grips?

Personally I can not ride with padded gloves, puts pressure on the nerve, I use medium diameter grips.

There’s no doubts they make good gear, I just can’t warrant more than a plunge saw and detail router for the majority of jobs.

    neilwheel

Unfortunately not. I did think about buying the big 2000w router, dismantling it and using the base as a coaster but I didn’t think it would work out well.

Depends how big your mug is I guess, would probably need some guides to ensure consistent tea tool placement too.

That one ^ has a self cleaning bottom.
