As above for the stuck BB, Plus Gas or other penetrating oil, either with a small applicator tube through the BB drain hole if it has one (Probably not), or pour it down the seat tube, and leave to stand for a while.

As to the OP, with a new clean screw of decent quality being fitted using a new decent quality tool in an easy access situation by a decent quality operator who is not tired, in a rush or needs a piss, then it is very hard to round off the head of an allen fixing. In any other situation all possible variables could affect the outcome.

Spare hanger and brake pads can be bagged and taped to saddle rails, Shirley?
No need to carry spares for a bike your not riding.

    Bosch fan myself but………..

Dewalt 18V Li-ion batteries fit their older machines too*, even though they are a different shape going from oval to square. There is a slight difference in the mount so that you can not use older batteries on newer machines. So if your old batteries are getting tired it make make sense to buy a new Dewalt Li-ion.

    * Best to double check before purchase but I have used Li-ion batteries in an old Dewalt machine.

I’m thinking ‘forget about the trolley and have a glass of wine’ is probably the best course of action

    What trolley?

I have been to a few training sessions, it is a good crack.

Do you know a few people who would want to get involved? Maybe consider a youth club.

It shouldn’t need too much to get it going. Drainage is important, and also depending where you are, some kind of barrier to stop scooter riders ragging up the track.

Not only is it legal, it is morally correct too.

I think the Park calibration department are all either drunk or smoking something.

Once you get it aligned it’s done and quite simple to do, don’t get the alignment tool.

The base is nice as it allows a variable working angle, I just fixed mine to a bit of plywood with a wedge underneath.

The dishing gauge, in your link, is nice but overpriced for what it is, I think there are other cheaper options for that.

I prefer Spokeys for any wheel building work, the red and yellow will cover most wheels.

Not sure if they are up and running yet?

Have a look here, not a large range though.

Just bring one of these instead?

In reality I think you have two chances, and you shouldn’t bet on the second one.

OP if you still want to run the 180 disc these might work for you?
It seems to be the 20S spacer kit that wwaswas posted earlier.

The Liteville has a direct mount on the chainstay for a slider guide as an optional extra.

    EDIT – 112 Euros extra.

I think they have changed Ben. The first version was like that, the later ones are self locking.

They no longer come with the ‘flower’ back plate either.

    Lawyers Washers.

There should be a little sprung tab on the the washers that locks on the triangular head of the bolt when they are done up.

    Get over being so stubborn….

Sorry, I didn’t mean to come across as a donkey.

If you have found something you like to ride then…………..good luck on your hunt.

    Always fancied a Liteville myself.

These parasites usually latch on to a real plate number.

Might be worth informing the police in case your plate has been cloned?

Assuming the frame is straight and symmetrical in design.

Run some string from the inside of one dropout around the headtube and back to the same point on the opposite dropout.
Get it as tight as possible.
Measure from the inside edge of the string to the seatube on both sides and compare.

If there are only two sizes then it’s either small or large, there is no medium.

    Sorry, nowhere near.

If you go for the above be careful of putting any side load into the tower.

Chimney stacks are also often worse the deeper you go, so steady away.

I suspect the “I was a kid in the 1970’s” mental image I now have is not the correct one.

As above, too many unknowns to give a decent answer, but it will probably take at least 3 times longer to do whatever you need to do.

Where are you? I have a tower that is not being used at the moment.

I know you don’t want to fit spacers but for me, coming from an engineering background it’s a normal part of fitting.

Some M6 stainless washers from somewhere like Screwfix or Ebay will cost a quid or two for 100. They will probably be the thin form, so 0.75mm thick, you will have 96 left for something else, and you can get matching front and rear adaptors assuming you are changing sizes on both discs.

Don’t tell anyone else and it will be really hard to spot those washers.

If they have been sitting for a while the grease can get too sticky and stop the pawl from releasing.
A good spay with a thin lube or solvent can get it moving again.
