Do these endure helmets feel heavy compared to xc ones?

You might notice it at first but not for very long.

You can move the fittings, ideally just by moving the backboard, to anywhere that the current cable allows. As long as you don’t tamper with the meter and any of the connections or terminals then the supply is as fitted and tested.

The electricity supplier is responsible for everything up to, and including the meter. Any part after this can be worked on by a suitably qualified electrician.

Do you want/need to keep the brickwork by the front door?

Is there enough free cable to turn the lecy board around 90 degrees and fix to the external wall. You could then box it in easier and fit a divider between water and electrics.
    OR
Build some storage across the wall under the window with separate compartments for the services.

    For the skirting:
Fill the lower section. Straight cut to a 45 degree mitre, vertical section with 45 degree both ends, and then 45 degree mitre back to horizontal.
    OR
Run the skirting straight across and then add an infill below.

OP – That’s what happens when people take the piss, not aimed at you by the way.
Muppets use these kind of games to get spare parts for free.

There was a PSA for the Bell on here during the last week, £60 I think.

I have the IXS Trail RS, suits me but I have a strange head.

Sand the non-stick coating off, then as above.

I don’t think anyone is suggesting poor behaviour should be accepted, on the road or anywhere else.

IMO confront others, especially van driving chimps, when you are not in a vulnerable position yourself, and expect that any response may not be favourable either.

People are animals, some of them are wild.

I find it best not to expect others to hold high standards.

I love it when people read between the lines and insert their own opinions into what others post. Then wonder why reasonable debate is not possible and at the same time claim to have won the internet argument.

As long as you have a camera running you’ll be fine.

If you;re saying the cyclist is “at least partway to blame” then yes you’re making excuses for the driver.

My gut feeling is that the rider encouraged this situation, no excuses made for muppets like the van driver.

    General rules of road riding:

Don’t put yourself in a dangerous situation, whether you have a camera or not.

Don’t shout at other road users when in a vulnerable position.

Don’t lay on the floor if you are capable of getting up.
(Especially when numpty van driver who just drove into you is out of vehicle and approaching.)

Disclaimer: Maybe just a crisis actor.

The old ones are probably worn and will let more crap into your brand new cable set.

Fit new ones, if they don’t have a seal put a spot of grease in the end of the outer, if you want coloured ones, buy them instead.

Montane fan here, different cuts available so you should find something that’s not too tight, not too baggy.

Have a look at Keela Roadrunner trousers.

As above, I’d go with 2mm either side myself.

my only remaining concern is whether or not it was broadcast as ‘live footage’ at the time

Broadcast as ‘breaking news’ possibly, I don’t think phone camera footage can be broadcast live? That would require a direct link.

which is a good thing, but the others remain~ any further pieces of the puzzle to debunk are welcome, but as it stands, there is still much to question… why the edit around 0:17 for example?

In that clip there are at least two cuts, and the last section of the film seems to be from the beginning in real time. The guy in the blue shirt and body armour crossing the roof at the end seems to be the same man taking cover next to the camera.
The cut at 0:17s could simply be a section removed while the camera was not focused, for example filming the back of a chimney stack while shots are being fired below.
The disjointed order and, possible, lack of continuity strikes me as a piece being edited in a rush and then aired before completion, rather than anything fabricated.

Does she ride a bike any other time?

You might want to start off with towpath or green lane rides.

I’m sure I have one, brand new, in the spares department but I can’t get to it right now.

If you do try to snap it, work from the inside as most anti-snap cylinders are only effective on the outside face. There’s a reasonable chance you will do some damage to the door, obviously a burglar is not too fussed about this.

If you have plenty of time then drill away, if you have a small grinder cut the face of the the cylinder off as close to the door face first. Careful of sparks on the glass as they tend to stick. Obviously once you start to drill it then you are committed to finishing the job that way.

The other option is to make a bump key, or call a locksmith who should have it out in a matter of seconds but I have no idea of cost.

Sorry, I can’t give you an exact dimension. From memory I have seen this issue mentioned in respect to Canfield, Canyon and Lapierre frames but this is definitely not a complete list

Best thing I can suggest is to have a general search, on all forums not just this one, for your frame and desired drivetrain setup, see if any results come up, positive or negative.

    Your link contains this information.

The missing jet had requested a “deviation” from the flight path to avoid thick storm clouds, AirAsia said.

Indonesia’s transport ministry said the pilot had asked permission to climb to 38,000ft (11,000m).

Ministry official Djoko Murjatmodjo said the request “could not be approved at that time due to traffic, there was a flight above, and five minutes later [flight QZ8501] disappeared from radar”.

As I have a plastic NDS cup, the oil + acetone mix will probably eat through that before it has a chance to do it’s thing on the other side but the results from the tests are interesting.

I very much doubt acetone will eat through plastic BB cup material, anyway, lay the frame with the drive side down, as that will get a better distribution of whatever you choose into the threads.

Obviously if you are doing this kind of job regularly then making your own brew is cost effective. If you do have acetone then you can substitute used fork oil for the ATF.

I think the issue is with the length of the hanger, as in the distance from axle centre to fixing bolt hole centre.

So the issue is with the frame not the mech. Short hanger then use SLX instead of XT.

I use SLX with a 40T set up and no complaints.

The extra cost gets you jockey wheels with bearings on the XT, compared to unsealed plain bushes on SLX, and a few grams difference in weight.

Less clearance for using extender sprockets with the XT.
