Stating the obvious, but, you did check the length of the chain?

Disconnect at the top, you adjust length at the lever end, the banjo at the caliper is a permanent fitting.

I think you want to try the next size up too if one is available.

The Were ring magnet ones work well, the magnet is on a sliding sleeve that holds the screw head. Standard and impact versions.

The lack of a matching fork spoils it for me.

It seems that he passed the footage to the MEN for general awareness, I think it was an inevitable outcome once it had been published on the web.

Smooth concrete is best for large fabrications, you can lay out and tack up on the floor then stand up or lift onto trestles for final welding.

I would go with the sacrificial layer of T&G chipboard as above. If you have repetitive cutting or a specific welding bench then put something more durable in those places.

Unfortunately it does sound like areas of blown render.
Had this with external render on our house, it sounded blown when tapping it but the render had been mixed so strong it was more like cast iron and would easily take a fixing.

The hub needs to be a stiffer design as it’s the only part that connects the moving legs.

On standard forks that load is split between the axel/hub and the bridge of the lowers.

KS no 27.2 lever actuated posts!

Just had a look on their site, if you open the specifications tab it shows 27.2 listed.

Can’t find anyone with any stock though.

EDIT – That one ^ up there.

Maybe these motors are not yet reliable enough……

I think KS do one, might be the new Eten model just released/maybe not available yet.

Very little chance of it not cracking, especially if you start whacking it with a hammer, and then a high chance of failing in use if it does survive the forming.

Either use a curved former, the larger radius the better or try it with a minimum of two 45 degrees bends each side.

Considering he has done this to represent Islam in a better light, his muslimness seems to be totally relevant.

As above, I couldn’t be bothered to quote for those who haven’t read the link.

These thieves are using the courier role as a cover.

It gives them a ‘legitimate’ reason to be on your property and they can poke around looking for a safe place to leave a parcel. If they get challenged they can just bluff that they got the wrong address.

Sorry to hear about your bike OP, hope you find it.

If there was enough force to actually bend a wheel then the suspension and mounts are probably affected too.

Does seem like an insurance cop out. Hope you find a better solution.

Have you checked the size of the fitting?
That seems too big for what you need. If the curve of the throat is too shallow, the tool will roll off before you can get a decent bite.

Cheers neilwheel – are hook spanners one-size-fits-all, or do I need a specific size?

Sized by the diameter of the fitting.

Part Tool pin spanner should do it, either the red or green handle versions. You might have to bend the legs in a bit to make it work.

A loose bearing BB wrench should do the job if you know someone you can borrow from.

Otherwise the tool you need is called a hook spanner.

Sure he’s a twunt though and not just got some sort of condition that makes him that way?

I have wondered about that, but I think it’s more that an overbearing father who was also an ar$e has turned him into an ar$e. Just as an example, the father refused to join the first dance at his wedding as “he doesn’t dance” and changed out of the formal gear and sat in the pub attached to the wedding venue in jeans and a t-shirt for the rest of the night. Twunt.[/quote]

The condition may run in the family. Still no excuse for his behaviour though.

It’s not normal to need mounts and spacers with Deore. The caliper should go straight onto the mount.

I can’t see how this would have happened while riding.
Did you fit the BB? Is it a steel frame?

I like the Whyte, have been lusting after one for a while and it’s a better deal for you. It’s nice to keep it local and probably better designed for UK riding conditions. The 5010 lower linkage looks like it would catch a lot of crud.

I have not ridden either bikes.

They have listed a part No. HUB1009-14N

I assume it’s still in production or just not available yet and the website needs updating too.

I used amalgamating tape for the same problem. 2 or 3 wraps works well, it’s soft so has some give and plenty of grab to stop the cables popping out.

I had problems with the triple mech as it’s the wrong size and shape to get reliable shifting, had to fit a double front mech too.
9 speed chain will work fine.

The fish have more chance of dying from oxygen depletion over a winter under ice, it’s only due to the clear ice that you can see the evidence.

Any local weekend markets or car boots where they might try to shift them?
