They are pretty relaxed about every aspect of business in my experience. Haven’t used them for much or in a long time. Give them a call, you might get to speak to someone who knows what’s going on.

I’ve just had a look at the Icetoolz one and it looks a bit faffy to be honest.

It’s both an indicator and a bar to lever back into the correct place. So you can tweak a slightly bent hanger back to the correct position, a badly bent one will still need heat or replacement depending. You can get reasonable results with a large adjustable and long rule but the tool makes it much easier.

The BBC article includes that fact, all you have to do is read it.

The woman has been detained since making the allegation three months ago, but her case only came to light over the weekend when her family decided to go public.

    and

The woman was arrested by Qatari police immediately after reporting that she had been raped on the night of 15 March, as was the alleged assailant.

The square taper crank only exists in 3 different states
    1. Seized in place for ever and silent
    2. Creaky
    3. Works loose once, throw crank in bin.

I assume you have not spent time with cotter pin cranks and cup and lock-ring BB’s.
Shirley, you would realise these are just small trifles due to operator error.

It’s a shame that they couldn’t have kept prototype A and prototype B where they should have, behind closed doors.

Get a trailer too. There’s a couple who live local that usually carry their Pug to the park as it doesn’t even want to walk 100m.

My previous tent was a similar design to the the Trisar 2, but from MEC in Canada. Very good design in my opinion. Getting on for 20 years old and still gets used for festivals, numerous patches and reproofings, but still going strong.

Wild Country/Terra Nova seem to be in league with the devil that is Sports Direct, so worth a look there.
I have the WC version of the TN Solar Photon that was made specifically for Sports Direct, but I don’t think it’s available any more.
I prefer a stand alone tent for harsh weather rather than something that relies on guys and pegs. Also allows you to pitch on a beach if you can get away with it.
If you get a tent that has a footprint available you have more water resistance on the floor and can pitch the fly first, using the footprint to locate the pole ends, then get in with the inner and hang it in the dry. That’s my method for pitching in poor weather with the last two tents i’ve owned.
You can also take a small tarp and para cord, rig as a cooking shelter for all but the worst weather and accept that if it gets rough you just won’t be that comfortable.

I have a Madison Summit rack on the old Kona hack bike, it comes with some long leg brackets to adjust for different wheel sizes. I’m pretty sure it could be easily adapted to fit on a Salsa.
I also have an El Mariachi that I can look at for a while and stroke my chin at if needed, maybe even measure some stuff if you want?

I don’t think the hinges will be liking that too much.

You could fabricate a separate frame, like a spare wheel carrier, that swings out the way to open the rear doors.

You might as well try the fittings that come with trailer and decide on a fix if they are not up to the job.

I made a hitch with some ally offcuts, armoured cable cleat round chainstay and pick up on the skewer. It’s a single sided trailer hitch so would foul the derailleur on yours. Armoured cable cleats are good for sharing the load on to seat or chainstays if you do need to make something up. I think sizes 5, 6 or 7 are the most useful, roughly equates to 1/2″ 5/16″ and 3/4″

There are so many unknowns that it’s really hard to give an accurate answer.

I suggest you have a chat with ben cooper (Member link)[/url] who posts on here, he builds custom frames and all sorts of unusual wheeled machines.

    This is his shop.

Bit of a minefield and depends on how far you need to go.

If it’s a big chop you’ll need a new headtube anyway which, as above if it’s welded would be the easier option.

Then you need to double check for toe overlap and clearance from fork crown and front wheel on down tube too.

    Hardly a hostile response.

On the radio earlier I heard the bit regarding only 3 out of 20 union press releases were positive about teaching.
Does she think the teachers should lie just like the politicians do?

I recently saw a guy on a sit up and beg, one child on a bar seat, another one on the back. It looked hard work but he was going for it, full mash.
At the point I saw him he was also running a red light directly in front of a marked police car. First they looked surprised, then he looked even more surprised when they pulled him over for a chat.

I’ve got stainless ones here if you’d prefer that to aluminium. Off the top of my head, I think that would be a better combination, let me know.

I’ve had them out by drilling when fitted to thick walled mild steel. I think in a bike frame probably best to get rid of the old and have a new one in. If drilling through and the nut snags on the bit, there’s a chance of deforming the tube and tearing out the hole.

Just done one myself, very careful grinding job on the flange, until thin enough to bend up with snipe nose pliers. Then pushed it through. I have stainless ones here if you’re interested.

You could fit an inline barrel adjuster, I know it’s another place for water and muck to get in but it would save on guesswork/faff.

Add some pickled onions, eggs and red cabbage to your shopping list, you can take the pickled stuff with you in the car if you can’t face eating it.
    And some adult nappies maybe?

Doesn’t look like the best design IMO.

Are the two layers both carbon or is it a bonded alloy shim?

Can’t tell from the out of focus close up.

Definitely need to be able to ride solo before tandem riding, unless you’re missing a big adrenaline hit.

If you do it yourself, remember to keep it fun and don’t expect to do too much in any one session. Keep it short, an hour maximum for the first few times.

Well it is a 50/50 chance when you get it out of the box.
