Not sure about the legal side but do one would seem appropriate. How much do you like living there and are you up for a scrap?

    Yes, dirty little feckers.

I think it’s worth doing a bit of investigation on the guy, he might be a disheveled scruffbag who is also minted.

Not one scrap of sympathy from me either. In this situation he really does not deserve any sympathy, any privileges while in prison or to be ever given his freedom again.

It’s obvious the OP was on the receiving end, I think the best response is “mind your own, knob head” then carry on with having a nice time.

    Well done with the letter.

I’m a ludditical hermit, but have sent the links to someone who can like, share and poke etc.

My original PST is in a field after a machinery fire and the extinguishers were cable tied on to stop them bouncing out of their brackets on the tractors. That was replaced with Wave, good bit of kit with everything you should need, but both were given as a presents.

Gerber seem like good tools for less money, I had a Gerber Suspension for a very short time, due to some light fingered scruff bag.

I bought a Skeletool for riding and light camping. I also bought the adapter/extension that fits standard 1/4″ hex bits so you can carry a full custom tool kit.

I go to M&S too and buy the same ones as the Count, or you could go full-on bespoke with trainer socks and leg warmers.

There’s no real help if you are self employed and struggling to find work. On the other hand, if you are doing well, you then get taxed on your projected profits in advance, not really a great incentive to expand your business. Maybe getting a bit less shafted would be nice.

As Ed said above, is their time/room in his life for another hobby that is less climactic/perfectionist?
I imagine that diving is especially hard for someone in your lads position, massive amount of preparation and big build up with one shot to get it right, aiming for perfection.

I know someone who could not recommend them any higher (Purple bricks), in the Northampton area, maybe it depends on the quality of the staff you get to deal with?

Well it must be one of you neighbours then, post a notice and see if anything changes, maybe put up a CCTV notice, life is too short to be clearing up other peoples selfish behaviour.

Any chance someone is sleeping rough in the woods?

Post a notice, it can be polite and to the point instead of passive agro.

I don’t think it matters how you choose to help someone, it really is the thought that counts in these situations.

Hit it with a hammer, that’s always the best option, bigger the hammer the more chance it will work first time too, if not give it another one a little bit harder.

The formula on the Bird website takes into account the dimension for clearance that is need for the lower collar and clamp. That is the 75mm that you need to subtract.

You could be controversial and fit a 125mm dropper?

They have serrations on the edges of their bills, so can easily cut bits of plants but not by pecking at it. Maybe it knew you were watching and are now the laughing stock down the pond.

I’d go with the metal plates. Aluminium sheet both inside and out, rough up both plastic and metal, bed the whole repair in something that will bond to both plastic and ally, Sikaflex EBT from Screwfix will work well, and put a washer over the end of the pop rivets before pulling up.

If I’m using rattle cans I have a small takeaway pot and lid with acetone in it. If one blocks, swap from a fresh can and put the blocked one in the acetone to soak for a while. If you keep the nozzles from empty cans you soon have a range of clean nozzles to rotate through.

The PU foam cleaner contains acetone but the tip is much wider than on paint cans.

Agreed, it does seem that every ride is a training ride for many. This problem is all about riding appropriate to the conditions, not improving your OA time for each commute. If more riders saw it as a sprint intervals ride than absolute speed, maybe they would improve fitness for the weekend ride/race and be less concerned about making progress.

I pick option 3, that vid looks like a close pass to me, maybe he planned to say something as he passed within a hairs breadth?

Personally would have made a shoulder check as soon as he stepped out, eased up and veered off towards the curb, ready to shout a loud “Oi” if he did something else stupid. He’s already shown himself to be stupid for crossing without checking, why would you want to be near the idiot?

VP – It’s good that you are riding. Have you thought about Yoga, Tai Chi or something similar with low physical impact and some mental/meditation element too. Have you thought about volunteering for some projects or charity, if you have any time spare, helping others can be a good medicine.

I suggested on the similar thread about the combination of 5HTP and St John’s Wort, the first should increase serotonin production and the second limits it’s re-uptake similar to the way SSRI drugs work. You might want to do some research and consider this as an option if you can’t tolerate the drugs. Entirely your choice but this combination may give you enough of a lift if you feel that you are falling back into the blackhole. If you do choose to try this I would suggest you try it when feeling well rather than waiting until there is a problem, if that happens, start at the lowest recommended dose or try them separately in the first instance.

12 sessions does seem to be the limit with the NHS, and as above, it really is about cost. They expect to see some change in behaviour through those 12 sessions. Personally, CBT did not work for me, I struggle with counselling, it seems to highlight all the problems, and how crap life is for me and make the situation worse. As you said, I agree and IMO it really does depend on if you do ‘click’ with the person you are seeing. I do have the benefit of a place on a charity counselling service as I can’t afford to pay for it myself, maybe there is something similar available where you are. I think Mind offers this service too, but demand is high and fill up fast.

I have ‘treatment resistant’ depression. After years of combinations of drugs and a couple of times as an patient at a mental health hospital. I have just had two meetings with a CDAT team (Complex Depression Anxiety and Trauma), the guy I have seen is excellent and the range of services they can offer is impressive, unfortunately it seems that you need to go through a literal, living hell to get access to this service. Again the waiting time for any of these services is a matter of months, and as I’m desperate to move away from where I live, when a course of treatment has been decided and applied for, I doubt I will actually be here.

If I remember correctly, you suffer with back problems, I could be wrong. I think you need to concentrate on what keeps you healthy, fit and strong, both mentally and physically. Good luck, I hope you find a solution, sorry I don’t have anything good to say.

I thought thats what “Yo(u) will not be able to” means, sorry about the badass spelling if that confused yo.

As for talking to a doctor, I’m sure I mentioned that too.

I think you should seek as much help as possible. Do you have family or friends you can talk to?

Exercise and diet are more likely to give you an immediate benefit than the drugs. It will also feel that you are doing something about the problem yourself. You can also get 5HTP from health food shops, it is a precursor of serotonin, but do some research if taking that in combination with St John Worts and be careful about doses.

See your doctor to talk about the options available, any drugs they offer you will take some time to have an effect, 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the person. You will not be able to take 5HTP and SJW if you are on medication. Some drugs will be more effective than others and it is a game of chance of how soon you find the right one for you. The GP will first offer you the one that is most effective for the most patients and is also the cheapest to supply, this is usually Sertraline but varies. There will usually be some side effects, but these should reduce with time, but not always true, depends how sensitive you are. So it is likely to be at least 2 months before you can change to a different drug, and then another few weeks to see if that one works and is tolerable for you. They are generally relatively safe, and do help lots of people, but it really is your choice. No more unhealthy for you in the short term than a crap diet.

As above, CBT or counselling with the NHS will probably be some time wait, and it depends if you feel the person you are seeing is someone that can help you. If you can afford to go private then it’s worth a try, you can try a session or two and see if you think it will work for you with that service provider, if not try a different one.

Only you can figure out if there are people at your work who you could tell and who would be sympathetic to your problem. How about looking for a different job?

    Good luck.

There’s a chance that this will become a bigger problem for either dog, but there is a higher chance the terrier will become food aggressive. Let them fight and they could do some serious damage to each other. Separating them could be problematic too, and do you really want to be a constant referee?

One way to get around this is to feed them either side of a barrier where they can see each other, a fence or garden gate, a glass door or a baby gate in a doorway. Or make something up yourself. They should then get used to being in proximity to each other with food and not feeling threatened.
