Not the same here either, I was taking them both together.

In my non-professional opinion, it would depend on dosage and duration of the Mirtazapine.

^ Makita now has a new option for their mains grinders, called SJS, supposed to be vibration damping mechanism and anti-binding/kickback clutch. I have not tried it and obviously costs a bit extra.

    In response to your gripes:

I use my saw without the track if the large circular saw is not handy. Is easy to add on 5mm to the cut depth and you get a better finish if the blade projects below the item being cut, just use something as a sacrificial base.

It sounds like you are centering the rail on the board, you need to have the rail biased towards the start of the cut. You only need about 50mm rail overhang at the end of the cut.

Are you alone or with your new GF?

You need to start breaking this vicious cycle, the sooner you start the better. Replace the negatives with something better, mindfulness or whatever, get out for a ride, do nice things for yourself.

You are not a failure for not wanting to socialize, or whatever else is stressing you out. We are all different and need different things.

As above, Gnusmas posted a helpline list so if you need to talk go to that thread.

I would consider offering to push it to somewhere safer, that would be the limit unless it was due to a flat tyre and someone unable to change the wheel.

Well done TJ and some good ideas already posted. There are some free services around but pretty much limited.

I’ve been using a charity service for most of this year, The Listening Place in London, it’s only an hour every 2 weeks but when things were worse for me I was going every week. I know Mind offers free counseling but places fill up fast. Some Samaritans offices offer a drop in service.

Otherwise there is CALM, Campaign Against Living Miserably by phone or online and AA sounds like a good option to aim for obviously.

i think there are specialist sites for this sort of thing.

I would always ask on trails or rural roads, I would not bother if commuting about town.

It won’t stop me but have been put off a bit by a couple of poor experiences stopping for entitled knobs.

It depends…both on the frame, and secondly, the number and size of holes needed.

There’s a fair chance you will shorten the life span of your frame.

Only suggestion I’ve got is to try hooked blades for a Stanley knife, attached to some wooden dowel or whatever you have long enough to reach.

I’d have thought the easiest way to motorise it would either be a hub motor or a drive unit at the BB, battery on the downtube?

Why complicate it by integrating a motor and battery into the load bed/rear sub-frame?

Not sure they have spent much time thinking through the motor plan yet, also Kickstarter pricing, the ebike version only costs 200 Euro more than the standard version.

You need the tyres with added teflon.

I like the bike, and not the video. I had a look on Kickstarter and the bike in the vid seems to be their first prototype, there is a later version with rear disc and IGH fitted, guess they choose not to make a new film for the fund raiser, which seems a bit strange. I hope the make it a success.

The sub frame sits inside the rear end so the load on the pivot axle is not great and far from taking the full cargo and rider weight. Their plan is to fit the motor at the pivot and battery in the cargo tray, not sure if the motor mount is possible with off the shelf parts and the amount of space available.

Not sure how anyone thinks the Weekend Early Morning Gusher is ready for a show on week days… And…Anyway… I’ll be listening to recorded Gid Coe instead.

As above, you can request the footage if you are in it, assuming you weren’t there or you would have known about it.

The pub has CCTV to protect its business interests, not to protect the customers interests. It’s technically a hit and run, so why not contact the police? The idiot should get a telling off at least and you won’t need to take full responsibility.

As above, 18v if you need to drive 100mm screws all day, use big auger bits and hole saws. Otherwise 10.8/12v will be fine, I have Bosch but would look at Makita CXT with the slide on batteries, and a 240v SDS plus. BIL has Milwaukee 12v, sparky who is very hard on tools, heavy duty tools but again overkill for DIY really, not sure what the price comparison is.

OP – Surely there are other tools/things to spend your money on!

FWIW I have a Montane Minimus, really good jacket and packs down tiny, you don’t know you’re carrying it. Not sure if it will suit you exactly, but it’s a good choice.

He was cleared of attempted murder and attempted GBH by trial. The evidence was strong enough for the charges to be made but the jury decided not provable.

I would need to be paid, or get some freebies at least, before I advertise their brand.

But yes, live and let live, not the slightest bit interested if people want to put stickers on their property, until it gets to funny.

I’m not sure, but, the doorman is probably not a violent criminal that makes a living by demands with threats, using a stolen vehicle, possibly also obtained by threats of violence, who will attempt anything possible to avoid capture.

Also the police drivers are generally trained to a better standard and, probably, don’t use these tactics when drunk.

This happened after he was thrown out of the club and punched a bouncer, so plenty of motive, not sure how he was also cleared of attempting to cause GBH. Must be the ‘sorry I was drunk’ defence.

Rawlplugs can work, drill out holes to fit and need cutting to length, otherwise hardwood dowels drill out and glue in place, cut off excess and then re-drill for hinge screws.

Dowels are at usual DIY shops/builders merchants, 6, 8 and 10mm diameter are common sizes.

Maybe get some small chain and fit some restrainers to the doors while your at it.

One option is to design a blanking plate into the cabinet with a small cut out for cable run. Removes all risk to you.

Fitted into skirting there is probably some spare cable behind, but sod’s law may well be in effect and brings the risk back on to you.

The film crew will use the names given to the animals by the wardens and researchers who dedicate their lives learning about these animals. These programs would not be possible without that background knowledge, as is clearly shown in ‘the making of’ sections.

It’s well proven that easily identifiable animals are more easily remembered by names rather than numbers or other code, animals that need reference material to be identified are better identified by codes as it makes searching easier.

It’s just a function of the way the human brain works, not a case of the David Attenborough getting the production team to think up cute names for the viewers.

Maybe it wouldn’t be too bad by hand, last time I did this it was at least 10 tonne bags that went in, so my memory is probably skewed by that.

I’m sure you could do it with one of those, you will be able to put it down as an experience as I don’t think you would want to do it again though. Something like a sleeper and an extra pair of hands maybe, hand tamper, not so keen on!

A machine will give a much more even density, a lot quicker and less effort. To do it the way i’ve suggested will mean a fair amount of re-raking and compacting again, easy with a machine, not something I would want to do by hand. What you gain financially in doing it by hand you will probably lose most of it with the extra sand needed.

I’m no expert and hard to say without seeing the job.

Gut feeling would be to go for a tonne of type 1 and hire a whacker, work in layers and check level as you go, should be able to get pretty close. Finish off with bagged sand to get your final level.
