There is/was a click worth of trim on the small ring, so when you get towardsgears 8 and 9 the chain won’t rub on the front mech.Search me why they didn’t put any trim on the big ring. Weight saving I spose.

I think Dura Ace 10 speed only had trim function in 1 direction.

Do they still sell bags of nuts n’ bolts that they’ve swept up off the workshop floor?

As a general point…if one buys a pasty in a wrapper, it must specify the meat content. If one buys a pasty loose, as it were, it is not legally required that the vendor disclose the meat content. Would anyone care to speculate which will contain the lower proportion of meat, and of what quality that might be?

Hi MB, it’s all just plans at the mo – no stock, no locos. I envisage the quarry being a handful of mineral wagons moved about by a 0-6-0 loco. The last line at the station is meant to be a cattle bay – I think you’re right, it may be too short to get a couple of cattle trucks and loco in. Perhaps if I move the point a bit further east?
