Yeah, but I bet he couldn’t play it very fast when he was 5.

Our local Spar has stopped stocking UHT. Presumably to make more space for their 76 varieties of fizzy drink.

Paul drummed on Back in the USSR and Dear Prudence and doesn’t disgrace himself but he is not better than Ringo IMO. Listen to “Rain” – also, coincidentally, where Macca’s bass playing explodes into life, probably as a result of getting a better guitar that stayed in tune all the way up the neck.
Please tell me if I am boring you.

Electric yoghurt makers ensure a consistent temperature. Our climate is not ideal. Mind, the Swedes eat a lot of runny yog called fil so they must have way s of keeping the temperature steady. Probably by burning elk

^😂 I read the other day that Lennon said he really liked the song but he would have sung it better.
I found a drum tutorial that breaks down Ringo’s part. It boils down to triplet rolls. I might post a link tomorrow.

We have a Lakeland yoghurt maker, works a treat. Put in a live yoghurt, top up with UHT and stir. Leave on overnight. Pisswarm fresh yog by the morning.
We like it best left in the fridge for a couple of days which improves the texture and thickness.

I went the other way – stopped trying to be a riding god, got back to old-style getting out int the country, exploring the hidden corners – and alsao fell in love with it again.

We cycled from Ijmuden to Amsterdam central station – must have taken about an hour. Not very pretty, but excellent facilities.

There’s a good route using the Inn Radweg to Innsbruck, up the Brenner Pass on the old main road and down to Bolzano.Excellent cyclepaths and road riding to Trento.

In my recollection, the soundtrack for Banana Splits was always so poor I couldn’t hear the jokes. The studio audience Laughter track thought they were hillarious.
And Animal Kwackers – Good God, a bit of my childhood died when I first saw them.

Slightly off-topic, the RSF and CTC must have reams of ride reports that would be useful for establishing that people were using bikes over certain footpaths for many years and before the first definitive maps were drawn up.

I also helped fund this book and am very much looking forward to its arrival.

You say it doesn’t seem like depression, but I find one of the weird things about depression is I often don’t recognise it until I come out of the other side. The mind has a way of putting it down to other things. I try and stay alert to this now.

^ That kind of thing is the realm of the Environment Agency. I think they would take a dim view of it.
I believe the AONB have agreed to look at the work that’s been done and check it against the planning conditions. But as bajsyckel says, you can’t put the single track back again.

Ted Liddle is on Northumberland LAF and he’s raised it there. I sometimes get to the AONB access forum and will raise it there took.
But I can’t see this ending up any way other than all the Hexhamshire tracks getting the same treatment.
