Its a million pound, well insured, year old car. Nice business for Wilson to build another new one…. Motorsport teams love insured accident damage… 😀

Same story as trail_rat here. BT wanted over £100 to connect me as they checked my line and they said the line was dead and not connected. Went with Sky and got BT engineer free through them. Came out plugged in his machine and low and behold has always been live. He was in my house less than 2 minutes……

Kings Woods have some very flat wide trails but nothing exciting really. More family trails really. Theres a cycle trail from Heligan Gardens down into Mevagissy.

All the stewards need to do is take the data of the 5 laps before the passing incident and the 5 laps after the passing incident then compare the throttle trace to the passing lap. Im sure this will show Massa doing something different with his right foot. Thats how disputes are done in the BTCC.

Just looked at the drawing in the PDF owners manual I have and it looks like a fixed length cable. Also looks like a pain to change as you need to remove a lot of internal panels to get to it.

Just had another look and im sure you could space the outer cable if the inner has stretched

I think the gearbox issues are sorted out on the later vans.My mate has one for his business. He has the long wheelbase with the same seats as in the photo. He can get 2 motocross bikes in the back diagonally across the space. One is his lads so might be tight getting two large mtx bikes in. He's had 3 so far and runs them till they have 200K on and has had no problems.

I think you can get to Stile Cop from the top of the climb where the seat is with the bikerack. If you sit in the seat then Stile Cop is right behind you.

Contact the original owner and ask if he's willing to get it sorted for you. I know I would if someone bought a frame off me and it broke.

Have a look at Sage's free "Sage Invoicing". I'm a self employed race mechanic and is spot on for me.

Sorry to hear this Tony. Personally I would just go in as normal and do your normal days stuff. Ive always thought never burn your bridges. You never know if or when they will be taking on again, thats if you want to go back. As for what to do next, I would get hunting straight away and dont be to hasty with spending your redundancy as you dont know how long you will be out of work.

Hope you get sorted soon mate.

Hora, if your going to Tweeks this week, ask for Dave Kimberley and tell him you know Neil from Slidesports. Might get you some discount…

If you manage to drill the 2.5mm then I would get a torx bit and hammer it into drilled hole. Then use that to try and undo it. If it still doesnt budge then if youve got access to a soldering iron then use the iron on the torx bit to try and get some heat into the stuck thread.

I thought Harry was very diplomatic with his interview about the future of England….. Not a good idea to piss your future employers off on national tv… 😀

Remove lockring, drop a washer or small coin behind it and screw lockring back in till it locks out. Should start to pull cassette off slowly. Keep adding washers/coins till it breaks free

Might be useful to get a written statement off them about the warranty, if not for you then for when you sell it and for the new owner.

Just spoke to my mate who's a Ford salesman and he's said to check that the dealer actually did the work and that they didn't sub it out. Any towbar fitted at his place would be a pukka Ford towbar with factory loom and he reckons about £500 but he wasnt sure. The main problem he can see you having is if you have any electrical faults with the car during the time of the cars warranty then your warranty is void as you ( well the dealer ) has hacked into the loom. He said make sure you get confirmation that they will honour and warranty the splicing of the loom as a new loom is around £1800…

Did the Wayfarer last week starting from Llandrillo. As for the route across the bog, I hugged the wire fench as I approached the metal gate then scrambled up the little bank on the left straight after the gate, over the fence and headed for the higher ground on the left. Still boggy but not as bad as down below.

Agreed about the road climb. Is there another option to get back to Llandrillo?

Speak to Tim on 01751 476815. He's in Pickering and used to work for Pace I think but has set up on his own. Sent them on Monday, got a phonecall on the Tuesday afternoon telling me what was needed and advising me on stuff that needed doing. Agreed the work and received them back first thing Thursday. I think it was about £85 or £90 and that was with £30 worth of outer seals, a new top bush, oil and the service and return postage.
