It would be far easier and cheaper to get some angle bent to your dimensions that to cut down existing angle.

Im sure they came on a Micro SD card. Did you get a 4GB card that you fit into the slot next to the charging slot.

Theres an update thats available so make sure you use Webupdater to get it.

Google says check the brushes and also there is a thermal/overload fuse on the side of the motor somewhere..

Yes had the miss fortune of using them a couple of years ago. The car was repaired and bought back to me three times. First time the bumper wasnt refitted properly, I could get my whole hands inbetween the bumper and headlight. Second time tried to open the door and it fouled on the new wing they fitted. Third time it came back with overspray all over the roof. Had it back and took it to my own bodyshop…

I think Druidh has it right. I think it all involved the ownership of the Airborne name. The company who owned it wouldnt licence the name to anyone else so Van Nicholas got the frames made in the same factory and branded them as their own. Thats what I have read in the past.
The company is Huffy Corp and a quick google seems to say that they were honouring the waranties so maybe worth contacting them. Or you could try Flyte who is the other company involved.

Ive just let my flat as I was having problems selling it. I just phoned my mortgage provider and told them I was working too far away so they have allowed me to rent it for 3 years without changing my mortgage over. Just cost £199 admin fee.

Im currently still working in motorsport. Been doing it for nearly 20 years and would love to get out of it. Started working for a supply company as UK agents for Penske Dampers and after 10 years left there to work for a team running Porsches in BGT. Did a few SPA 24hrs and also did Daytona 24hr in 2001. That was probably the best time Ive had racing, so much better working in the States. Then did FIA GT’s for a couple of years. After that I fancied staying at home a bit more so went into BTCC for 2 years. Then I had my best year as an engineer when I ran Jonny Adam to the Cupra championship.

I think once you get your face known around the circuits then getting a job gets a whole lot easier but I would love to get out of it..

One thing you must consider if you want to get into the business is definitely the long hours and also a lot of teams only want you from February through to October so you have to find something to do for the rest of the year.

Have to agree with Scaredypants. The Ferrari was on the racing line for the corner and Im sure was concentrating on the Audi behind him and not what was behind that Audi. As previously stated and what is stated in all drivers briefings for endurance races is its the responsibility of the faster car to make the pass safely and of the slower car to stay to the racing line. So, although unfortunate, in my eyes it was a racing incident.
Im just wondering how many have actually sat in a GT car and tried to see out of the mirrors…?

Thanks Alex for the route. Just got back after a superb days riding. Travelled there in heavy rain but by the time I got there the sun was out. Hard ride but enjoyable. Cheers… 🙂

First off make sure tyre pressures are correct, then the tyres are all the same. After that I’d be first looking at ARB’s front and rear. As for the self steering I would get its wheel alignment checked. But make sure that they check the rear aswell.

As Johnniewhitesox says Sutton area could be a good option. Close to most things and trains go direct from Sutton to University. Close to Sutton Park, Cannock, Sbowdome…..

Nothing to do with I have a flat coming up for rent… 😉

I agree with DavidB on the OS maps for off road stuff but they work great for the roadbike. I just use Mobile Atlas Creator and use it to put an area of 1:25000 OS mapping that I want to use onto the 800. Works great.

We have gone through a fair few ez-ups at work. We use them for extra cover at race weekends. Had a few of the “cheaper” ones and they just dont last, we use them 3 or 4 times a months during the season. As previously said the steel ones are heavy but we use them as we like the extra weight for when it gets a bit windy. So for that reason we spend the extra money and go for the genuine Ez-Ups.

Not sure about specific type but its just looks like a standard way to get some low speed softness on the compression side and having a load of low speed damping on the rebound side. Easiest other way is to drill a small bleed hole in the piston but that affects comp and rebound aswell. Ive been building dampers for nearly 20 years, mainly Penske and Ohlins and recognised the shape of the shim stacks.

    Washer

    10.30×0.38mm
    15.25×0.25mm
    22.85×0.38mm
    22.85×0.38mm
    22.85×0.38mm COMPRESSION
    12.70×0.25mm
    20.25×0.25mm
    22.85×0.25mm

    Piston

    17.85×0.38mm
    17.85×0.38mm
    17.85×0.38mm
    15.25×0.25mm
    15.25×0.25mm REBOUND
    12.70×0.25mm
    12.70×0.25mm
    10.30×0.38mm

    Small Washer

The above list is a pretty standard list of shims that I use on our race dampers. The 2 shims nearest the piston on the compression stack control the low speed then the next is a spacer. The spacer is next and this gives you a softer low speed before they then hit the next shims. The next shims are the high speed control. On the rebound side there is no spacer shim so there is a lot more progression and gives you more low speed damping. The 3 x 17.85 dia shims are pretty standard as a way to get a lot of low speed control.
Probably not much help but if you can find the shims to match the general idea of the above stack then you wont be far wrong.

I know 2 places that we use that weld titanium. Both fabriacte parts for F1 teams so if you need anything doing then email me. Midlands based.

I think you can weld titanium in open air but I think you need to purge the back of the weld to stop the weld drawing contaminates through from the back. Normally plug all the tubes and then feed Argon gas into the frame.

The second, bigger slot, is where you fit the memory card with your maps on. To transfer your route just find the drive called “Garmin Edge 800”. Then in the folder “Garmin” you will see another folder called “NewFiles”. Put your route in there and the 800 will find it and put it where it wants. You will then be able to select “Courses” on the 800 and it should be in there.
