TDCi Injector Programming. Looks like its just 1.6,1.8 and 2.0 TDCi injectors that need programming. Not sure about 1.4

I know on Transits they have to be programmed by the main dealer once fitted

Have you had a quote from a main dealer for the work. I might be talking rubbish but I thought that modern Ford injectors had to be “programmed” by a Ford dealer anyway so the local garage would have to take it to the dealer anyway. As I said that might be total rubbish… 🙂

I don’t think the money collected at the meter goes to maintenance but to the FC. But if you get a parking pass for the year then that money goes to Chasetrails. I’m sure Stu will correct me if I’m wrong….

Better ask the FC where all the money goes as I dont think its got anything to do with Chasetrails. Stu, I’m sure will confirm or deny this… 🙂

The only thing I would say is on the test drive listen very hard to any gearbox noises or noises from wheel bearings. Ideally if u can start it from cold and see if you can get all the gears easily while not moving. The gear linkages play up. I have an 04 Vivaro and it was the Achilles heal of that year. Not sure if the newer ones are any better. Apart from that they are cracking vans, very quick and very economical if kept to about 70-75 on the motorway. I can get 45 mpg out of it in normal driving.

No, you can remove outer races aswell as complete bearings. U can get the claws to grab on the bearing surface, you just need to tighten it up more. Once you have moved it a tad you can then move the claws to behind the race..

I can second the Forest Hills Hotel in Frodsham. We use it when we race at Oulton Park. Im sure aswell the entrance road to the hotel crosses the Delamere Way which im sure you can use to get to Delamere Forest which is not too far away.

Found this maybe worth a look.

“Light 2 flashing indicates the pressure switch is stuck .

By far the most common cause is a blocked sump hose. Its down at the bottom, behind the small panel.

Remove the mains plug, tilt the machine forward slightly and place a washing up bowl or large roasting tray underneath. Have a few large towels handy and remove the large black hose attached to the bottom of the drum. The ping pong ball should be in there, anything else should not”
