The first few times I looked at the frame i liked the gusset around the toptube/ downtube area. But the more I look at it the more I have to agree with Scruff. Just looks a bit odd. Have you looked at maybe a cnc’d brace. Something similar to the cnc’d brace on the Airborne Black Widow…. Just a thought….

Chase is a good choice. Trails are nice and dry. FTD should be nice and quiet and you could also go over to Sherbrook and do a bit of exploring. I think there are normally a few locals that ride out from Marquis Drive on Wednesday that might show you around.

Its certainly a nice looking bike Si. Just looking at the larger pictures on their website and noticed that the bearings look rather exposed on the pivots behind the red bolts for UK riding. I might be talking rubbish but would a covering washer to protect the plastic covers on the bearings be an idea..?

Yes if its the one in my photo then that track leads down to the shoreline and runs along the shore, its very rocky and halfway down there is a nice viewing area looking over Ullswater
