I would say speak to Ben at Shark Performance. We use him and Miko to map our cars in our VW Cup cars. They have about 70% of the field and everyone has praise for their service and support. They attend every round and give advice which is above and beyond any of the other mapping companies do. Tell him Neil from Maximum Motorsport sent you.

I did a lot of work to the truck of Dave Jenkins which Guy uses in this episode. It got rather bent after a crash at Oulton Park

Matt, If it the same as the Golf/Scirocco its a metric fine thread. Ive crossed threaded these loads of times on our race cars. When mounted in the car the angle that it is tapped is a lot steeper than you think. The proper bolt has a lead on the end to locate it and make it easier to start. I know it sounds brutal but we just get a bolt with a longer lead and drill out the first few threads. Where are you based..?

This is not the one I had fitted but same idea. Theres two options, one that is just on or off and the one I got that has a remote and you set the humidity.

My flat, which I rent out, suffered badly with condensation as it is a ground floor flat and my tenants would refuse to leave windows open. Fitted two heat exchanging fans before last tenant moved in and Ive had no problems at all. Cost me £900 to have the two fitted but it saved me that in redecoration costs after old tenants moved out. New tenant has just extended for another year so she must be happy aswell.

We use something similar to this on one of our race cars as a starting aid for one of our drivers who is disabled

I’d second BookaTrack for a fun day in their Caterhams. I know Jonny Leroux very well who owns and runs BookaTrack. If you do go that route tell him Neil Barnett from Slidesports sent you his way, might get you something but maybe not…

I can fit my Titus Motolite in quite easily. A bit fiddly at first but once youve got the knack then its easy. I find it easiest to turn bike over, hook the bag over the back wheel then over the forks. Then turn over.

Just tried it on mine and works ok. Sorry doesnt help you with your problem… I use the same method as you. Save the file to my desktop and then drag it to new file. It’s called SD Track 99 when on my 800.

When I picked up my Trek the shop informed me of a small mark on the rear chainstay, to be honest I would never have seen it if I wasnt told. LBS contacted Trek and they gave me £150 off anything in the Bonty range. I would be asking for a bit more…

If a dealer can make money then they will take however many cars you have.

With reference to the belt, have a google for Walsall leather. Not too far from you and still a thriving industry here.

The Garmin doesnt need a specific cable, I have 2 or 3 different ones that I can use, I lost the garmin one. When you plug the Garmin in you should get 2 boxes come up, one is the Garmin and one is the SD card. The unit will then say its charging. Open Garmin Connect and press “Upload” in the top right corner.

Excitable1- yes just save the tile to the 800. There’s a limit to how many you can store, size not quantity, but I just keep one on there of my local stuff, Cannock, and then just add tiles as and when I need. I thought the same about the 1:50 maps but I use it on my road bike and prefer the 1:50 for road use.

As Clowner says you just need Mobile Atlas Creator 1.8. But make sure you download 1.8 and not 1.9 as OS maps arent available after 1.8.
