no there are no restrictions to where you can ride on friday or saturday, i’m going to be up there myself saturday!

its open access land, as far as i’m aware there’s nothing you can do to stop people walking where they want due to the fact its ‘common land’

unfortunately my riding weekend is ruined by my local bike shop, awaiting parts which they either haven’t ordered or ordered too late. ****ing annoying i tell you. still that has made my mind up that i won’t ever use them again.

we’re heading down in the very near future to have a ‘dry run’. those problems you’ve just mentioned are why we have heaviliy involved the countryside rangers and will of course brief all the riders.

That has been a complicated issue but we have worked closely with lancashire borough council on access issues. countryside wardens are there on all race days to help with amoungst other things, exactly that.

(d) its a secret ha ha, well we have the option of a few variations but they will all use predominantly the red, why wouldn’t we its excellent!

The route will however depend on what category you’re in, the have-a-go heroes won’t be doing the three drops if you know what i mean?

i’d come along and watch at the first race ans see what the crack is, bet you will wish you were riding, i know i will!

i’m originally from hartlepool thats all and i knew a bland from there, i think he’s moved to the NW like me.

Bland are you originally from the NE?

i’ve had mono mini’s and i also found them underpowered. i had them on a light weight hardtail and they were ok for that but would be no where near powerful enough for my full sus.

my mate has a pair of 08 (i think they’re ok) with the servo wave levers and they are more powerful, the thing is though the hopes will have more modulation, a better feel.

i’ve just upgraded my XTR’s on my ransom to the new 4 pot saints and the difference is huge!

yeah thats right tarmac the lakes? 🙄 another person who ignores some form of riding, trail centres aren’t the be all and end all but off some variety, plus if he doen’t know the area and is on his own (they’ll always be people at trail centres) they are the best bet.
