Was it done overnight then? From a bike lock up?

Cant believe so many were stolen. Genuinely gutted for them. Hoe did they manage to steal so many?

Sounds daft but is this a ‘proper’ service? And not just a lower leg removal…. Because it’d be great to have something local for stuff like that

Really really nice that, the myroons have that bolt through rear axle too don’t they?

I like the look of those, maybe need to speak to TF, tried emailing but got the response that they’re too busy to email due to demand, which is fair enough but work 9-5 sp difficult to call. Off next Tuesday so may do it then

I have a couple of sets of LB ones. The 29er pair were the most noticeable, obvious weight loss but also much stiffer. 650b pair I have nothing to compare them too but considering they’re the 38mm wide version they’re essentially DH strength with more or less xc weight. I took the plunge as it wasn’t a huge cost to purchase. I genuinely wouldn’t have got any if it’d have been at enve prices

I’m out with ride Slovenia in July too, we’ve done a lot of the other resorts and were looking for something a little different. Really looking forward to it

I’m quite interested to hear the results on this too, the CTD shock I have suffers the same issue, was thinking about a tune but this ‘sounds’ good too

I’ve mentioned this many times on here but I love my Titus Fireline, really is a great little trail hardtail, however have to say I really like the look of that mondraker. The only thing is a bike with a head angle like that is a compromise climbing, I know this as my new Enduro bike is, where as the semi slack head angle on my Titus sits in the middle nicely

I got mine from wiggle, cant comment on longevity as its only been on a few weeks, still working for now though

I noticed a big difference switching from American classics alu to lightbicycle carbons on my 29er. Much stiffer not to mention weight, but, I couldn’t justify enve’s. I have two pairs of nice lightbicycle wheels for less than one pair of enves

I’m trying the specialized stuff at the minute, seems to be working ok. I was sick of the stans stuff going off remarkably quickly. Interesting to hear about the slime stuff though

What are the sidewalls like? Are they ok tubeless? These look like decent tyres might try some, I’d be interested in the weight too

If I was buying another dropper post (I have two reverbs on two bikes atm) I’d be seriously considering something different. The reliability issues with reverbs are really starting to piss me off. There’s a review in what mtb this month if that helps. KS and Thomson come out higher in that review, I like the look of the KS

We’ve had a couple of guided rides by Steve at icycles. Absolutely unreal riding round there dome of the best I’ve ridden, anywhere. Well worth the money too highly recommended

Yeah had some for 7 months or so, zero problems so far and as long as you have some patience bleeding isnt too bad. They have a different feel to Shimano, can’t say they’re better necessarily but I like them

I’m 6ft on a 18″ Titus Fireline, the bike that the on one parkwood was modeled on. I agree with some of the points above, 29ers are not just for tall people, the first time I rode mine I loved it, it just felt right. The head angle is reasonably slack and the chain stays short, some of the key things I look for. Some 29ers can be awful, like any other bike but I’ve found peoples opinions and reviews are pretty close. The on one parkwood comes with sensible stuff like a reverb, whether it fits you is another matter

I think its a great little van, and its something I’m actually looking at now but, imo its over priced. For that sort of money you get a newer home made vivaro/primestar etc. That’s not to say you wont sell it, you just need to find someone who wants it enough.

I don’t think so in the UK, I have the control version on my 29er. Fwiw I’ve never had an issue, on my 650b full sus I have gone for the grid version. Compound seems softer for sure but there’s definitely a weight penalty

Its time to move on. So many other people have doped and been allowed to come back. Yes, he was deceitful but then so were so many other people as they had to be to succeed. EVERYONE was doing it at the time and most people had been for years, he was just better and wanted it more. There have been numerous single minded people that would do anything to win, Senna would crash into people at 170mph if he thought they would get out of the corner first putting their lives in his hands many times. Some people will do anything to win. I’m not saying its right, but cycling has to move on otherwise people like Wiggins and Froome will be answering questions forever

I’ve gone for the same tyre set as on my 29er, specialized butcher and purgatory controls. Definitely my tyres of choice they’re a great all round pair

All that crap wasn’t there when I bought my absolute black adaptor. I tried it on my hard tail and the shifting was awful, but saying that the chain line isn’t brilliant on there due to the chain ring being in the outer chain ring position. We’ll see how it gets on when I fit it to my new enduro bike with 1x specific kit. If not it’ll be one of those things that looks nice but is actually useless

I’ve had similar experiences with them, they’re a good bunch of lads that always give good service, but will also do something on price where they can. Worth a trip out to if you’re reasonably local
