On my phone I can see a 2015 bike on the Giant website showing as having the size I am interested in “in stock” – how do I find out which of the stores has it in?

Might be being dense or the full website might be different?

Making roads safer by forcing other cars to remain in the oncoming lane for longer? Interesting approach.

Mine had 2 in from the factory and another 2 in the box (140mm 29″ ones), have you actually looked to see what is in there?

I’m running 3 but am 102KG (2M tall so not as fat as that sounds, though still fat 😉 )

Can finally join in as picked up from lbs and got them to weigh it.

Tallboy LTC in XXL, X01 drivetrain, reverb, crossmax STs and Pikes came in at 12.7kg with pedals, happy with that for a bike bike 🙂

Tell him you are very grateful and if he won’t take a token gesture ask him to nominate a charity you can donate to on his behalf. And enjoy the guitar!

Just built up a new bike with X01, coming from an old 3×9 setup the thing that stands out is the simplicity in only having one shifter where up is up and down is down, no overlap or thinking about what you are doing at the front.

Went from 26″ wheels on 3×9 to 29 1×11, ended up doing my calcs and picking a 30T front and it is fine, lost about 1 gear at the lower end and a few at the top end that I am not fit enough to use.

6’7 Tallboy LTC XXL arriving this week, should be an improvement on my too small 2004 rim braked Kona Fire Mountain 🙂

For anyone else considering a purchase, John Lewis are offering 3 year warranty on Macs & iPads until 2nd May, rather than their usual 2.

The education link above saves you money and you get 3 years Apple care 😀

speed is almost always a contributing factor in accidents

Stationary objects tend not to crash so yes, it is normally a factor.

They don’t check if you are a student or not if you order using the above education link… Done it myself a few times.

The singletrack SSL cert was issued in september last year, if the private key has been compromised changing the passwords now won’t help, an attacker could still decrpyt the traffic including the new password…

Peasant – is that a 140mm Pike on the Horsetheif? Warranty ok with it?

I’m 200cm tall and currently searching for a 29er frame with a long ETT – XXL Tallboy LTc numbers look good but carbon only in that size, lot of cash.

You are using your vehicle outside of the terms of the policy, they will try to recover their loss should it be large enough to make it worth their while. I’ve made a successful circa £15k claim for a crash there but that was back in 2003 before the insurance companies were quite so wise. The person I refer to crashed and several other cars then proceeded to crash on the fluids spilt by his car.

Local ‘ring specialist hire places will be fine but the excess is expensive.

Get passenger rides – don’t be afraid to ask people in quick cars, often they’ll be more than happy to let you hop in, if you have one take a helmet – I wouldn’t let a stranger in the passenger seat of my car without one. Go to tiergarten http://www.am-tiergarten.de/ (book in advance by email if there is a big group of you) and have large amounts of steak and beer, you’ll have a blast.

PS. There is a bike hire place from memory so you can get a bike and ride round the outside of the circuit to get to some great viewing spots.

On point 1 – yes, they will pay out, but can then come after you to reclaim their costs. I know someone personally in for a six figure sum.
