Nice and the Italian riviera… it’s currently sunny and 20 degrees…. amazing riding both on and off road, and 1.5hrs flight (gatwick)

Edit… 20deg in Dec, probably not, but Jan and Feb has regularly exceeded that

@w00dster they are for a 2018 spesh roubaix so not looking for super quick, but the current wheels weigh about 1900g… and I run 28mm tyres.

So not sure if saving 300g on a bike like this is worth it..

About to buy these from Sigma, £465 with additional discount and weight seems respectable at 1550g for the price, plus I can just pop over yo the shop if I have a problem.

Anyone have any experience of them?

As many have mentioned stay well away from the bi turbo models, the egr cooler breaks up and sends metal in to the engine resulting in a new engine required..

Used one today with a gpx route loaded, absolutely awful awful awful. It’s going straight on ebay..

It wouldn’t follow the route and was very slow in locating, and frequently freezing up

I do ebike tours using specialized levo’s and santacruz hecklers, but I hire them…. you will need a full time mechanic if you do it yourself, it’s simply not worth the aggro.

I have been guiding for over 15 years in Italy a d although at times we had hire bkkes, they just took up too much time in maintenance..

Friends of ours spent 2 months in lesxarcs on kenevo’s with no probs.

They were not using plus tyres tho, and I wouldn’t ride 2.8 in les arcs, lut on 2.6

Gotba free upgrade to a 300hp v6 amg e class a few days last year. Lovely car although the dash was a bit gimmicky… but so smooth fast and quiet… until u put it in sport mode.

Still took over 6 hours to do a 4 hr journey tho

Most of Finale is geared up for day shuttles there are only a handful of package operators, and yes they require a 5 min to keep the week going (90% of people stay 3 days on average, mostly german weekend trippers)
